Worth completing tour early on Oban trip. Plenty of information about surrounding area to help with other activities. Our tour was adapted for us and was well worthwhile.

We went on this walking tour on 28 June 25. Our tour guide Kenny was very knowledgeable and gave us a good insight into Oban and its history. It was meant to be a small group tour but there was 20 of us which, combined with the fact that it was very windy, made it hard to hear at times. All in all worthwhile and good value for money.

It was a good tour, but it could have been better. We really enjoyed the guide, but there wasn’t as much content as we’d hoped for. There was an enjoyable walk along a forest path and a good description of the various castles, but we would have liked more about the town, itself…maybe something more about the architecture and development of Oban. So, the tour was worthwhile, but it could have been much more!

Seeing the black guillemots was a real treat. Rosie was a fabulous guide. She was very knowledgeable about Oban and also knew so many interesting things about the local wildlife.

It was ok. Our guide was probably a new employee because she keeps refering to her notes. Not much of historical information about the town and the area. Maybe the other offer for a walking tour would have been better...
