This star gazing desert tour by Jeep starts with easy pickup from your Hurghada hotel for convenience. Once you’ve been picked up, ride by Jeep to a Bedouin desert camp.
At the camp, go on a camel ride, enjoy a welcome drink, and eat a Bedouin buffet dinner by candlelight.
Then, head to a stargazing spot in the desert specially picked out by your guide who’s super familiar with the area. Take in the sunset and then watch the stars for a bit.
After a few hours of relaxing and stargazing, your guide gives you a ride back to your Hurghada hotel for a stress-free drop-off.
At the camp, go on a camel ride, enjoy a welcome drink, and eat a Bedouin buffet dinner by candlelight.

We were picked up by Hakuna Matata and Ali for our trip out to the Bedouin. Hakuna is an incredible driver. The journey out to the mountains was so much fun! When we arrived there was tea and water, followed by a camel ride. The camels were in so much better condition than the ones in Cairo. After the amel ride we watched the bread making, and tasted some too, then we had a brief talk about the medicinal herbs used by the tribes people with the option to buy some. Then we saw some of the animals they keep and cuddle a baby goat. Ali then took us up to the top of a ridge where he took some beautiful photographs and we watched the sunset.
After we ate some really nice Egyptian food while the sky grew dark and then we had our stargazing and talk with Adam, who was so knowledgeable and gave some really interesting information. I now know how to spot my daughter's zodiac constellation. I would happily do this trip again and again. We had the best time, and have some incredible photographs. It was so peaceful, and stunningly gorgeous.

The tour was great. Really well organised. Communication before and during the tour was excellent. The pick up from Soma Bay worked well. We had a lovely trip, the driver and guides were all helpful and considerate and Nasser was really knowledgeable and helpful when explaining about the stars. The camel ride and horse ride were fun and learning about the lifestyle, the herbs and cooking of the flat breads was really interesting. The buffet dinner was also good.

Exactly what I was expecting and more! The Jeep ride through the sandy desert was super exhilarating! I wish the camel ride was a bit longer...but grateful to do it. Pick-up was right on time and the tour was most interesting. Araby our guide did a great job describing life among the Bedouin and was truly an astronomy expert. The sunset was spectacular, the camel ride was a good photo op, and dinner was tssty.

It was an amusing day. Be aware that the drive in the desert is quite jumpy. Some people may find it fun, some may find terrifying. But definitely not recomended for people with back pain/issues. Bring also some warm clothes (desert is hot during day, but quite cold during night). The explanation about the starts may be entertaining for kids or people with basically zero knowledge of starts. For me this part was quite boring, tbh, but I enjoyed staying in the desert during night under full moon.

This was the most beautiful experience of our Egypt trip. The team was amazing, they picked me up right on time from the hotel, the vehicle was super-comfortable, the driver was amazing and the jeep safari on the desert was awesome.. absolute offroading which they called "Egyptian massage". The main person explained well about Bedouins and showed us glimpses of their lifestyle, the sunset point was amazing and the little camel ride was fun. Our astronomer Arabi was superfun and knowledgeable, the dinner was great and the stargazing experience was beautiful. The return journey again was great! For the money, it was amazing collection of multiple experiences well-managed by the team of wonderful people.

This was an entertaining evening, Adam was a great guide. The jeep ride across the desert was not for the feint hearted, very bumpy terrain so did feel a little bit fragile on reaching the camp. Demonstration of bread making & medicinal herbs was interesting, food was delicious and star gazing was amazing. A good experience all round.

Pickup was late, everybody was constantly begging for tips. The driver wanted a tip, the "guide" (who did very little actual guiding), wanted a tip, a bunch of children wanted a tip for sitting in a tent and grinding a fake flour mill, a woman wanted a tip for sitting by a fire and making flatbread. Just tips, tips, tips. I'm not sure what I paid the 32€ for, since literally everybody wanted tips as if I hadn't paid for the service already. I got very little out of the tour since 90% of the time was spent listening to them begging for tips.

Great fun. We were met at our hotel by our jeep (there were 8 of us), our driver was great fun driving across the desert, entertaining us until we reached the Bedouin village, where we had camel riding, sunset viewing, a demonstration of local bread making and then a meal, a look at the moon and Saturn through telescopes and an explanation of the night sky. Great value, no pushy selling or tipping just a brilliant day out

This is about a 25km Jeep ride across the dessert to the village over bumpy terrain which is fun but quite a long time in the back of the jeep so if you do get travel sick it’s not for you. The village looks authentic and you get to visit 3 different areas. There is then a mountain climb to watch the sun setting before having an evening meal in the dark under the stars.
The guide Habibi was extremely knowledgeable about the stars and you could tell its history passionately to share this with others. We had photos taken under the Milky Way which we purchased for €15 and they were sent by WhatsApp the next day.
There were 2 long range telescopes set up which had Saturn in one and a disco star in the other.
The evening ended with a Q&A about the stars and finished at about 8pm so a good 5 hours spent there.

No much to do for the price.
- camel ride for just 60 seconds (30 meters to and turn back)
- industrial cadence on everything, with over 200 people coming from 20-30 different 4x4
- poor show, lasting a bit until the cheap karaoke saturating small speaker runs out of battery (they faked surprise), then after 10-15 min of silence, few minutes or a drum
- had to beg for water, despite being included in the service. Family got only two after asking, had to complain to get some for everyone after the hill climb
- food was ridiculously. Some raw cabbage.
Groups go in a specific order. We were guaranteed there would be some for everyone. But guess what, the best food was gone (for example the mix salad). So, poor quality and disappointing quantity.
- drive across the desert in the 4x4 was nice, 9 out of 10
- star gazing with explanations was nice too, interesting. 8 out of 10.
- scene was relatively nice, good lighting. But a bit too loaded of tourists. Really, 200 people in a small place feel like, for the price, feels like a scam.
- cultural tour about making bread the classical way: nice, 7 out of 10
- trying to sell traditional products, like seen in the 2000 shops in town.. 2 out of 10. Still trying to squeeze money out?
Overall, it was nice, but compared with a dolphin house whole day trip for half the price, this feels not worth the price. Disappointing.
Recommendation: Find a cheaper provider, you’ll get exactly the same thing. Those who pay 50$ or 20$ or 10$ all get the exact same thing, same experience, same treatment.

This was a good trip but we didn't realise how uncomfortable the jeep would be. My kids (11 & 13) loved it, but my mum (68) had a rough ride. Also, there's lots of walking involved. Especially up some hills to watch the sunset. So wear comfortable footwear good for hiking, like trainers. The food was delicious. Recommend to taje water with you, as they may run out (they did after the food). Only had warm coke left. Adam our guide was very good and his knowledge of the constellations was impressive. All the staff were friendly.

Excellent experience and certainly a different afternoon/evening adventure!
Don't be put off by the jeep just buckle up for the ride.
First things first, jeeps are not air conditioned so dress accordingly and have some cash to pay the taxes when your collected.
The jeep safari across the desert is bumpy yet thrilling, but more wondrous is how any driver finds there way! Miraculous!
The bedouin camp is interesting, camel ride is short and sweet but give your phone to your camel guide and they take some great pics!
Bedouin tea and flatbread are lovely so make sure you try.
Now to watch the sunset... One thing we didn't know was we needed to ascend a small mountain for this... So our advice wear appropriate footwear! It's rocky and loose stone so take care and go slow and steady both up and down!
Sunset is beautiful so it's worth it!
Dinner by candlelight was lovely, food all cooked well and presented nicely. I'm fussy eater but still managed to eat!
Now the stars... Simply amazing... Beautiful clear skies shared millions of stars and Adam our guide gave lots of information about stars and navigation.. Truly fascinating and something we will never forget!
Then the return jeep ride, a little less bumpy on the way back.
Something to note, the trip says 5 hrs approx, they didn't factor in Egyptian time so it's actually more like 6.5hrs before you are back at your hotel but it's so worth it.
Big thank you to Arabi our guide and Abdul our crazy driver, both were very funny, slight adrenaline junkies but took care of us all and got us all back safe and sound!

This is terrible!!! Absolute waste of money! Dreadful experience. They tried to squeeze us into a landrover that is like a police van. Not enough space and terrible to sit cramped for grown people for 2 hours ride there and back. No driving into sunset. We had to walk a hell of a steep path to "watch" a bit of sunset. The show was dreadful. Uninformed and just bad. Then they charged us for photos with the stars which, when we received it looks NOTHING like what they showed us and like images taken by a 5 year old. Food was mediocre and must have been ordered from outside. Just overall really terrible.
