The trip itself was very nice, and I am giving one star less only because of the transportation.
The tour started at 1:40 a.m. After about 20 minutes, we stopped to form a convoy with vehicles from multiple travel agencies (around 25 buses, vans, and cars). This process took approximately 1.5 hours, and we finally departed at 3:30 a.m. One of the guides explained that vehicles are required to travel in a convoy for security reasons and that departure depends on police approval.
Unfortunately, the van was quite uncomfortable. We arrived at the Grand Museum at 9:15 a.m.
Aside from the transportation issues, the tour itself was excellent, and we really liked the tour guide. The return journey was smooth, and we arrived back at the hotel at 10:30 p.m.
I noticed that some travelers complain about high prices at the restaurants during the stops. While prices may be slightly higher, there are very few places to stop during the 5–6 hour drive, and it seems that convoys are only allowed to stop at designated locations.

Excellent trip. We opted for the small group. Journey did take around 7 hours to get there including stops. Once we arrived we had our own translator guide who was brilliant and very professional! Lunch was a buffet with plenty of options. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is due to the comfort of the vehicle, we had no sleep and it was a very tiring day, but very professional and brilliant guide and drivers.

This was a good experience. If you only have one day to see Cairo, it's definitely worth it. But, this is an incredibly LONG drive in one day. I don't think the drivers are trying to go slow and stop a lot. They all start the day as a caravan, so they wait for all the cars to arrive, then there are several security check points, and two stops for passengers to eat and use the restroom. The pyramids are amazing and I'm really glad I saw them. We also went down into the pyramid, which was worth seeing. We did the boat tour too, which I would not recommend. It was fine but not as memorable as the rest of the trip. The food for lunch was good.

We had a great day visiting the Egyptian museum, giza pyramids and Sphinx, and our guide Ibrahim was brilliant and incredibly knowledgeable. However a few points that made this 4* instead of 5:
- From Sahl Hasheeh the whole day was 23 hours!! We left at 00:45 and arrived back at 23:00. There were lots of stops (security points, toilet breaks, petrol) but most were a lot longer than the driver said they would be (30 mins instead of 15, 45 mins instead of 20). They only stop at designated 'tourist' stops where you have to pay for the toilet and snacks/ drinks are massively overpriced, whereas when someone asked for an extra toilet stop, the driver wasn't happy as we realised it was because it was at a free unplanned stop where drinks were normal prices.
- The tour doesnt advertise the visits to the papyrus paper shop or the perfume shop where you are told how they are made, then made to try and buy things. Not visiting these would've saved 2 hours.
- The minivan isn't comfortable if you are tall so be warned! Take a travel pillow. However the drive felt very safe.
The long journey is made worthwhile once you see the pyramids up close in person!

Sarwat our incredible guide showed us an experience of a life time. We travelled through Cairo seeing the museum, we travelled to the pyramids the last ancient wonder of the world up close and amazing. The great Sphinx also which put me at awe. Last stop was to a family Oil and essence Shop where we tried herbal drinks and Oils as a tester. All in all incredible day with a very knowledgeable tour guide 10/5 Stars

It is very good and you can learn lots of information on the history of Egypt from the guide. You get a quick tour of the most important artefacts and the history behind them, and then we got around 45min to explore for ourselves. Although the museum can be quite crowded and loud at times, was still worth the visit. Afterwards was a buffet lunch, was decent. Then off to see the pyramids; 3 stops in total. Although we only had 20-30minutes at each spot. The trip was long, as to be expected but they offered a lot of water. The guide was good; also informed us on tricks and scams when we arrived at the pyramids and what to say to avoid them. Ended the trip at Kings Ali’s palace, very lovely sents and history, however was out of my budget.

Sarwat was a great tour guide. Everything was under control, he had a great deal of knowledge and a good sense of humour.
It was a fantastic experience for young and old (children aged 3, 7, 12 and 17).
Sweet and friendly drivers though, one was on his mobile most of the time while he was driving. Nice that cold drinks were provided.
The lunch that was included was great. Almost less papurus/perfume shops when we were there a few days ago and instead more time at the Egyptian museum.

The visit to the pyramids was awesome, but the fact that we had to stop at different locations of people trying to sell you stuff just gets in the way. The tour guide Ahmed was pretty cool. The lunch was mediocre. Another bad part was the fact we had to take a bus to another bus then to Cairo. The guide on the bus only catered to the German audience and didn't translate to English until only after we asked him to. Not bad but not great. Oh yea and the bus ride was uncomfortable with not restroom and they didn't offer drink and refreshments.

In the great museum we had only 2 hours and not much time for photos but still worth it. Our Spanish guide Aiah was very good guide very patient, taking pictures of us too!
