The gentleman that served us was very nice and explained what was being served. However most of the wines apparently had been open for while which made tasting not so great. Sparkling had no bubbles. Cheese plater very modest. The weather was hot and staying outside was a bit uncomfortable.

We are sorry to hear you did not think the wines were fresh and definitely if the sparkling was not bubbly you should have been offered a fresh bottle. We always endeavour to improve our service and take on board all comments. However, we do feel that you will find it hard to get a better value cheese plater in the Hunter. If you had asked you certainly would have had the option to sit inside if there were tables available at the time but with Covit we do tend to go with the outside option for everyone safety.
