Our tour was outstanding! Aina made us laugh and made us reflect. He was passionate about his home and made me appreciate his island all the more! Oh, and he could spot a pod of whales or dolphins at every lookout. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour with him!

Perfect 4 hr tour hitting highlights of all the spots I wanted to see on Oahu. Beauty and history all in one. Tour guide was a super cool native Hawaiian who shared personal experience and perspective and solid historical info that was very important and interesting. Highly recommend!

Tour was written as a pick up at the Disney Aulani Resort in Ko Olina at 9:00 AM. At 7:24 AM the morning of the tour we were notified that we would not be picked up at the resort but needed to get to a location in Waikiki (about an hour + drive from Aulani during rush hour. There was no way we could make that time so the driver said he would process the request to refund our $200 payment for this tour.
The tour description was grossly misleading and we have not yet received any refund or apology from the tour operator. We accepted their advertisement of the tour in good faith and waited at the Aulani resort until getting a message asking if we were going.to be able to make it to the pick up point in Waikiki. No way.

Hey Austin - I actually apologized multiple times on the phone that morning. the refund has been submitted it just takes 3-5 business days to process. i personally texted and called multiple times the day before(i texted day before at 4:30pm) - leaving a 17 hour window to let you guys know we don’t offer pickup at the aulani. My ad on viator also clearly states that. This 1 star review significantly hurts my new business and is very misleading to any other guests reading this. Sincerely apologize for the inconvenience it caused and keep an eye out for your refund.

Aina was fantastic! A 6th generation local who shared so much with us during the stops and in between. He answered many of our questions and provided us with a list of favorite local eats.
We spent just the right amount of time at each of the 6 stops and enjoyed a local breakfast burrito as well. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic experience on the Scenic Half-Day Circle Island Tour from Waikiki with Aina Tours. Ina ( I hope I spelled right) was pretty great! Called him the evening before to confirm, he answered and was very responsive, even got us from our hotel - which I don’t know was on his list. Arrived on time. We picked up a couple others and it was all in all a great tour with great people. We were a small intimate group and he kept us engaged and spoke of the history of Hawaii and his family + experiences being from here , how things have changed. Took us to lunch. Made several stops , never rushed explained all things. I highly recommend his intimate tour to anyone looking for the history of Hawaii and its people, and it Not taking your whole day!

Very friendly and knowledgeable owner/driver. Aian gave not only information about the site but also a lot of cultural information to help give us some perspective. He was warm and funny. He took us to a longtime family run restaurant to eat a very Hawaiian breakfast burrito for a snack. Bathroom breaks were plentiful for those who may wonder about their comfort! His van/bus was new and clean and comfortable. It was a wonderful initiation to Oahu and was a reasonable amount of time- 4 hours. Just a wonderful morning

worth the early start to avoid the crowds at each of the stops. Aina, our tour guide was outstanding and provided a "local" point of view. The Byodo-In Temple was amazing, and the cemetery was very interesting.

This was a small group tour of eight people. Aina was an excellent guide. Locally born, so very knowledgeable. The tour covered all the main look outs stops on the coastal road. 4 hours was about the right duration.

We booked this trip as we wanted to see some of the real Oahu but didn’t want a full day experience.
Aina was amazing, turned up on time and as a local Hawaiian he knew a lot and was very knowledgeable. It’s an early start but well worth it as we beat all the other tours for the day, so all the stops were pretty quiet which enabled us to soak up the views and take some great photos without having to negotiate lots of people!!
One of the highlights was the Nuuanu Pali Lookout which was stunning plus the visit to the Byodo-In Temple which is a must see experience.
We couldn’t have asked for a better guide in Aina, plus you get a breakfast burrito at a beautiful Hawaiian cafe that’s been trading since the 1930’s, it’s so great to support local businesses.
So if you’re thinking of doing this tour, just book it, you won’t be disappointed.

Aina was a perfect driver and guide. Van convenient to visit the main viewpoints of the island and the temple is beautiful. No tourist stops for shopping, Aina also offers a local burrito during the trip. Highly recommended.
