The most memorable parts of the trip were meeting some of the local people, having Alice as a guide/chef, and seeing some different countryside. Also learning how to pick the right ingredients to go with the four courses that we cooked under the eagle eye of Alice and then eating it-very tasty meal. Then onto the tunnels which was very informative and it was very useful to hear about the war from the Vietnamese side, and their struggles. Seeing actual tunnels and how the people were forced to live and the adaptions they came up with was incredible. Alice made the day with her bubbly personality and love of the the job.

My friend and I took the half day cooking class and Cu Chi Tunnels tour from Ho Chi Minh City. The van was on time picking us up from our hotel and took us to the cooking school. We went on a tour of the garden and picked fresh vegetables for our cooking class. We were taught how to make several dishes and sauces. They were all easy to make and tasted really good. At the end, I was so full that I could hardly keep eating. At our cooking school graduation, we were presented with a certificate, all of the recipes, and a shirt. From there, we were taken to the Cu Chi Tunnels where we went on a tour and were shown the tunnels and had an in-depth explanation of the tunnel network and how it functioned during the war. It was really interesting. 5/5 Would Recommend.

It was not terrible, but I do not recommend it. The cooking class was OK, but nothing special and it all felt a bit rushed. The cook manage to ask my girlfriend what was wrong with her because she was a bit slow with the cutting, partly due to poor equipment. We did not see the rubber tree plant.

The cooking school was fantastic and very tasty. The chef was entertaining. The tunnels were amazing. The young guide knew her stuff and answered all our questions. Highly recommended.

Really fun trip!!! Chef Ten really brings us a lot of knowledge and fun. from visiting the farm to cook on the table. we learn to cook 4 delicious dishes. non-stop laughing. then we went to Cu Chi tunnel for the next adventure. our guild sorry forget the name are nice and knowledgeable.Told us a lot history of the war. highly recommend.

Absolutely loved the cooking class. You get a cooking station to yourself and eat what you create after each dish. There was 4 courses in total and believe me, I had no room for any more! Receiving a certificate and a copy of the recipes was a great way to end! Our guide/chef was an absolute joy! Great english, funny and was always there to help when needed. Cu Chi tunnels was a great way to walk off lunch and learning the history as you went was thoroughly enjoyable. We had a different guide for the tunnels but she was great just like the chef!
