We had a hard time finding the place, but it was so worth it! Fabulous apartment! Great kitchen & wonderful teacher! She was extremely well organized & had so many ingredients to cook so many dishes! There was nothing artificial & the food was so good & authentic for the area. I highly recommend it!

Had a great time with Lua learning to cook authentic dishes in her home. She was so welcoming and the food we cooked was absolutely delicious. Her cooking class was a highlight of my trip to Vietnam and I would recommend it for anyone wanting a unique experience

Cooking class with a personal touch

Extremely fun and informative. We made 3 delicious dishes of shrimp papaya salad, braised fish, and chicken pho. The ingredients are fresh and ready to prepare. Everyone in the class helped. Lua gave us cooking tips and tricks and explained some of the local customs for meals. Her apartment is on the top floor with a city skyline view so of course we took pictures with the view after eating all the yummy dishes. This cooking class has a very personal touch.

I had a great time with Emily, Lua’s co-host, as well as 3 other guests that booked the same time slot as us. 6 of us in total, from 3 different countries, talking, learning about Vietnamese cooking and life, and then enjoying great food. We did a combination of cooking and eating as we went, which is great for those who get hungry. All the ingredients were freshly purchased before our arrival and Emily was a terrific host, passionate about food and full of bright energy! Would highly recommend this experience for those who enjoy food or personal conversations while traveling and meeting others.

Best cooking class in Saigon!

I absolutely loved this cooking class in Saigon!. The dishes were absolutely delicious and healthy. Lua do knows the importance of eating healthy and she only uses the best and healthiest ingredients. She is very flexible and was able to accommodate my cooking class on Sunday; I'm very grateful! Lua is friendly, funny and patient. She is also a great teacher! She explained many things about Vietnamese cuisine really well. We cooked at her place so the experience couldn't be mlre "local"! I highly recommend this class.
