You won’t regret booking this

We had a wonderful experience. The staff provided white glove service. The views are stunning. You cruise for a bit then park and have the option to either kayak or hop in a boat (paddled by a local) to go see a cave and a cove that had very few people in it. We really enjoyed this and it was a great way to see the beauty of Ha Long. Shout out to Le Quyen for great service! You won’t regret booking this. Note: the jacuzzi was not heated and far too cold to use. Also they stop for 30 minutes on the way to the ship at a local pearl market in hopes that you will buy things. Sort of annoying but that seems to be the way things go in Vietnamese tours as this has happened on each of our tours.

Beautiful day out on Halong and Lan Ha Bay

Amazing day spent at Halong Bay despite it being cloudy. Everything was conducted as per schedule and the staff went above and beyond to provide great service (including providing extras like blankets for the sunbeds on a cold day). I really enjoyed the variety of the buffet lunch which was first class cuisine yet local food and the rowboat excursion to the Lan Ha bay caves. All in all, really nice day spent seeing the beauty of the bays. Well worth the price.

This Jadesails 1 day tour or Ha Long and Lan Ha Bay was just an Awesomely Amazing way to see the natural wonder of this region. The tour was very well orchestrated and the communication was excellent. We opted for the luxury limo pickup and started the tour with a visit to the Vietnam Pearl market where you can see how they produce the pearls. There was also authentic crocodile and silk items for purchase that were simply beautiful. The cruise was filled with great food, live band, bamboo cruise around some of the mountainous islands and swimming in the beautiful bay. The cruise ship was very well maintained with great deck seating, hot tub and designated male and female showers and wash rooms. Well worth the time to see this natural wonder on THIS cruise. Professional photos on the ship are also included. TIP: Take cash for tips and shopping and wear/take a bathing suit for kayaking or swimming.

This was a very lovely day. The boat is very clean and the staff the absolute best. I enjoyed the cruise very much, although it could have been shorter. The buffet was nice, but my best meal in Viet Nam was the chef on the 2nd floor that made us grilled fish with noodles. The activity in the canoe was nice. The view was so lovely. However I do suggest the travel companies get together and clean up the styrofoam and other trash floating in the water. The limo was very clean and the driver was good. All the staff were amazing, especially Vinny and Bella.

This was by far the nicest day cruise I've experienced, and an incredible value for what you're getting. Some key highlights: - The crew was incredibly friendly, they make every guest feel welcome. They even offer to take professional photos for free and send them directly to you before leaving the boat. - The food was delicious, we asked for the vegetarian option and the crew provided us with more than we could eat. - The spot they stopped at for swimming/kayaking was so beautiful, and the highlight of the tour for us. Highly recommend, especially over other tours that only stop at the most popular and crowded spots.

Fabulous day trip to Halong Bay

Picked up from hotel, at pre arranged time, in very clean, comfortable mini bus with only 6 others, and taken 2hr drive straight to marina. Marina area a bit like a depressing ghost town with half built, empty buildings all around but offered cool drinks or coffee in the nice reception lounge for the boat before greeted onboard by the lovely crew with a single rose for everyone. Boat very clean and absolutely beautiful- definitely the most luxurious in the bay! The facilities are like a 5* hotel. Cruise through Halong Bay is outstandingly scenic whatever the weather, staff couldn’t be more pleasant and helpful, itinerary is great fun with row boat through caves, swimming and kayaking in a lagoon and even a lesson on how to make traditional spring rolls, all included. Lunch is a fabulous affair with a plentiful, wide selection on offer and catered for all dietary needs. Late afternoon tea on the sundeck with fruit snacks and cakes is also great. The well stocked bar onboard is the only added expense and their happy hour with 2 for the price of 1 drinks and cocktails on the cruise back to port is much appreciated. Can’t praise the crew enough as all very courteous and helpful with special mention to the fantastic cruise director( sorry but can’t remember his name!) A fantastic, well organised day trip, well worth the money and we thoroughly recommend to everyone.

Really enjoyable day cruise round Halong Bay, relaxing, but including fun activities such as rowing boats through caves, kayaking, swimming and Vietnamese spring-roll making. Excellent food included, and a full pay-bar on board. Charming staff. Thoroughly recommended, we were based in Halong so didn’t have far to travel to the marina, but most participants on our cruise came from Hanoi with the optional transport included.

Timelessness of Ha Long Bay

I was first attracted to Ha Long Bay by the film « Indochine ». Sailing by Jadesails, I got a chance to explore its beauty by traversing its cave on a sampan and a kayak. Amid its tranquility, I was totally detoxed, feeling instantaneously at rest with no progress of time. Thanks to this trip, I have a motivation to reorder the priority of my life. This trip offers a tipping balance between being solo and in a group. I find it very nurturing and relaxing.

Excellent organisation from pick up to bringing us back to the hotel. Thet boat was really very nice, with a group of around 25 people on the sail boat we had time to relax and enjoy the bay from the beginning till the end. The activities like boating, kayaking and swimming were also nice and in areas with no other big groups. Costs more than the average tour but it is really worth it.

I enjoyed the trip but it wasn’t suitable for older people regarding access and egress from the boat . The steps onto the boat were unstable no hand rail. I wasn’t able to swim in the bay because there was no suitable way of getting on and off the boat . However the staff were lovely and it was an enjoyable day

Good quality vs other operators, but overall this is extremely touristy and overrated (they also charge quite high prices on board) - better to go to Thailand and you get equally good views in Phuket but water is much cleaner since they don’t allow bigger boats and way more relaxing / less crowded

Halong Bay is also become 1 one new seven wonders of the world so everyday, there are so many people like travelling to Halong Bay. And now, it is summer holiday in Vietnam, it will be more crowded than normal especilly at the weekend (also included vietnamese tourist). We are highly recommend you should go to Halong Bay in winter time becase that time is winter season , not so many vietnamese tourist so it will not crownded tourists. 2-"Overrated (they also charge quite high prices on board)" -) As you know, Halong is the bay not like as the mainland. On the mainland, you can buy easy anything with lower price because they pay very low rate for the tax to vietnamese goverment. But on the cruise, we have to pay higher tax to vietnamese goverment than other so certainly price on boat will higher price than mainland. so we really hope you will understand that. Most wonderful experience on the Jadesails cruise

Not only was it as luxurious as promised, the staff did everything they possibly could to make the day perfect. I’m vegetarian and received a whole assortment of dishes during lunch as well as vegetarian spring rolls for the sunset party. The bamboo boat, kayaking and swimming was extremely enjoyable! The foggy weather made it extra mystical. I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone willing to have a relaxing cruise day through Ha Long Bay. Thank you again!

Une journée de repos dans le calme et dans un cadre idyllique, on recommande !!

La navette est venue nous chercher à notre hôtel dans le vieux Hanoï, des bouteilles d'eaux sont mises à disposition. 8 places disponibles, si vous avez la possibilité, prenez les fauteuils qui sont super confortables ! Après 2h de route, nous avons fait une pause dans une boutique touristique de perles de culture (pas nécessaire selon moi). 20 mins plus tard on arrive au port, puis on embarque à bord du bateau. Nous avons eu un très bon accueil de la part du staff, le bateau est très confortable, spacieux et conforme à nos attentes pour une croisière 'luxe' (fleurs fraiches, beaux matériaux, toilettes japonaises...). Tout était propre, pensé pour que chaque visiteur passe un bon moment. Le chef de la croisière Viny, était extrêmement sympathique, il parlait très bien l'anglais ! Le staff de manière générale était aux petits soins, ce qui était vraiment très agréable. Après le briefing, nous sommes en route. Bien que le temps n'était pas trop de la partie, les paysages étaient superbes ! Point positif de faire cette croisière l'hiver, nous sommes tranquilles pour profiter des paysages car il y a très peu de bateaux qui naviguent. Ensuite nous avons déjeuné, le buffet est varié, avec des spécialités vietnamiennes (spring rolls, soupes...) mais aussi des produits plus internationaux (frites, saucisses, pain...). Minuscule point noir, pas assez de dessert, tout est parti assez vite... Concernant les activités, nous sommes montés à bord de bateaux en bois, des locaux nous ont emmenés jusqu'à la "Dark & Light Cave". Moment de calme absolu, les paysages sont impressionnants. Nous n'avons pas fait de kayak, pas de baignade, ni profité du jacuzzi à l'avant du bateau car il faisait trop froid, mais par beau temps c'est à faire ! (NB : des douches sont à disposition dans les sanitaires pour se rincer et ils fournissent également les serviettes) Néanmoins, nous avons participé à l'activité "fried spring rolls" avec le chef cuisinier. C'était super, très ludique et on repart avec la recette pour la refaire chez nous ! Vraiment top !! Fin de la balade, on rentre au port vers 17h30 pour prendre la navette et rentrer sur Hanoï. Globalement, la journée était bien orchestrée, le programme a été parfaitement respecté et exécuté ! Un personnel à l'écoute et aux petits soins, un bateau super confortable, une journée de repos dans le calme et dans un cadre idyllique, on recommande !!
