Make sure you really can walk or get around. It was an excellent time but don't fool yourself because it's not fair to others when we have to wait longer than usual.

Old town hop in hop off bus tour

That it is combined with hop in hop off bus tours and 30+ people will be on this tour so you can’t really see much of the old town or hear.

Guide was great, knowledgeable, friendly and fun. The tour was well organized and had some interesting facts. Difficult to confirm location meeting point as the operator didn’t reply to any of my texts. Had to call the operator. It was limited to only one small section of the town. Other than that I would recommend

Arrived early to ensure we had the right meeting place This was a very busy tour with many in the group of all different nationalities. There were no ear pieces or microphones provided, so although Maria did a good job with coordinating everyone a part of the tour was missed & it was a bit disjointed with her addressing the x 2 Spanish people in the group then us - we noticed that people did leave the tour mid point, not sure why. Don’t know the best way to get around this logistical nightmare?? We have been spoilt before with small groups & private tours in the past, so this was probably a factor too. Also timings out, when we booked it was advertised as 90 minutes when in fact it was only 60. Still good value for money though, just would’ve like it a bit more personal! Well done to Maria - it must be daunting to have such large numbers in a group!

The guide was intelligent, well informed, polite and multilingual, but the meeting point was disorganized and chaotic. I wanted a monolingual tour (in Spanish) because it´s boring to hear everything twice, and it wastes time. However the majority of the tour were non Spanish speakers so she had to alternate between English and Spanish, which means everything goes very slowly. Not the guide´s fault … I blame the organizers.

Disappointing. Whilst I appreciate the guide had both spanish and english speakers in the group, the tour was billed as English speaking. Time was wasted translating information twice(as in both languages.The tourlastedmax 1 hour not 1.5hours as advertised.

I am writing to express my disappointment in the above tour and to advise you of how it was handled. I originally booked for the 12.00 tour but received the attached email changing this to 13.00. My wife and I arrived at the meeting point in plenty of time for the 13.00 tour. There were about six of us who met with the guide. She then told us that the tour started at 13.15 under the tree on the opposite side of the road. Whilst we made our way there the guide went to the HOHO bus stop and proceeded to collect over 30 other people. Apparently the HOHO bus ticket included a free walking tour at 13.15. This then made a party of around 40 and it was impossible for the poor guide to speak audibly to us all. She was even having to do the tour in Spanish as well as the English which we had booked. It was obviously not her fault that she was required to take an unpredictable number of people from the HOHO bus. I am most disappointed that our booking at 12.00 in English which would have just been people booking and paying for the specific tour was changed to an open house and the resultant chaos.
