From the initial booking through to organising our travel back to our hotel, everything about our experience went smoothly and we had a fantastic camel ride. This was a huge a relief for myself and my family after we had an awful and very disappointing experience with trying to book a camel ride with another Camel Safari operator at the sand dunes in Maspolamas in which we were turned away from their park after queuing at the entrance for over because we did not have tickets and then later failing to receive tickets we had attempted to book with them online. The host and staff at Camel Safari La barrenda are lovely people who made us fell very welcomed from the minute we arrived. The tapas we enjoyed (included with our trip) was made from fresh ingredients grown in the grounds of the Safari park and was superb. The trip itself takes you through a mountainous valley with stunning surroundings and lasts 30 mins. There is also a tour of the grounds included and a chance to meet and feed a baby camel and donkeys. You can also get a picture taken of you with your camel for an extra cost. If you are looking to do a camel trip in Gran Canaria I could not reccomend this place more.

This experience was so much fun the camels, the donkeys, the peacock, the parrots, all of the beautiful vegetation that made for a delicious drink and treats as well as a yummy lunch!

Not really a walking Botanical Garden! Camel ride is good. Everything else you have to pay extra for. It was fun but definitely not 4 hours. Tapas lunch was tasty.

We rode camels through the valley, had tapas and a free drink, the staff were fantastic and very accommodating, Anita went above and beyond for us and I cannot thank them enough! She even made a cake for my friends birthday and provided party hats! The experience was great for the money we paid Big thank you x

This out of the way excursion is worth it. The camel riding trip took us through the heart of a massive cannon with views Pico de Nieves(the highest peak on the island). The ride was expertly guided by a local who was able to point out caves which may have been inhabited by Neolithic people. Back at the camel ranch we were provided with a small tapas sampler and fresh made smoothies from the garden. The ranch also contained a small camel petting exhibit where for a small fee you could feed baby camels. The excursion operator was also able to secure us a taxi back to our resort with advanced notice.

Odličan izlet, prijatni domaćini i prelep ambijent. Prava oaza iz bajke bez ikakvog preterivanja. Vredi otići i samo na piće. Mesto je lepo i za pravljenje prelepih fotografija.

Bellissimo giro sui cammelli in mezzo alle montagne di Maspalomas

Un’esperienza bellissima! Facile da raggiungere per chi viene da Maspalomas con gli autobus. L’autobus num18 ferma proprio lì vicino(attenzione agli orari perché sono poche corse). Il giro in tutto impegna 2,5h così siamo arrivati alle 10 e alle 12.30 siamo andati via. Il giardino è carino con alcuni alberi che coltivano loro di mango, papaya. La fauna è pazzesca(tantissimi pavoni e pappagalli), i cammelli. Il giro sul cammello è durato circa 50/60 minuti ma è stato molto divertente e bello e lo staff ti propone di fare una foto ricordo con i cammelli che è un bellissimo ricordo. Le tapas erano buonissime e la ragazza che ci ha servito, Mary, troppo simpatica e gentile. Ci ha fatto anticipare il giro con i cammelli per non farci fare tardi per il bus di ritorno. Consigliatissimo!

Esperienza bellissima, personale molto gentile e accogliente, escursione di un’ora con i cammelli, con visita alla piccola foresta pluviale e ai molti animali presenti, finita con tapas molto buone.

Leider wurde das gebuchte Barbecue durch eine Tapasplatte ersetzt. An sich ok und lecker, allerdings hätte ich diese auch für 19€ weniger buchen können. Das sind immerhin fast 40€ für 2 Personen, die ich zuviel gezahlt habe. Der Kamelritt selbst war nicht gerade spektakulär. Es ging durch ein steiniges Tal. 30 min in die Eine und dann, nach einer 180° Drehung, wieder den Selben Weg 30 min in die andere Richtung.
