Beautiful but kinda false advertisement

We had a pleasant experience, our driver and guide were great. Amazing photos taken by our guide; we felt very safe with our driver, delicious tea and stunning scenery. However, it is not around the pyramids like the photos shows. We were able to see the pyramids from very far, and the camel ride was less than 20mins. Again, it was nice but they should not advertise that it is around the pyramids because is false.

This is NOT a sunrise camel ride around the Giza pyramids. This is a sunrise (wait under a highway overpass) walk on a dirt road along a highway filled with trash to a hill so you can view the pyramids from a distance tour.

Dear Kathryn, we see your review is not fair, you know Cairo has a problem with trash, plus this tour showing you the pyramids from the outside of the pyramids enclosure all, as pyramids area open at 7:30am and your tour was at 5:30am as sunrise. this is the first negative review about this tour, everyone was happy with it except you.

Ali, our tour guide was so responsive and informative from start to finish! Punctual too. The hazy sky obscured the great pyramids from us but we had a lovely camel ride nonetheless. (We had an unexpected stop on the way back to see how papyrus was made so we got back nearly two hours later than scheduled but it was an interesting detour.)

Picked up by our guide, Ali, fantastic. English superb and speaks many languages. He made sure we were safe and very conversational. Enjoyed him completely! Zero our guide for the camel ride was funny, entertaining and knowledgeable. He made our camel ride experience pleasant. Beautiful views of the back side of the pyramids and stunning views of sunset. Would do this again. Only drawback are the ATVs all around the camels so it’s not as peaceful as I had hoped. Very relaxing otherwise!

Our guide Abdul Habib was so accommodating. We were not expecting to sit and have tea with him. It was an early day and we were sleeping and a little nervous at first but when we mounted "Michael Jackson" and "Michael Jordan" and started our journey the sun started to make its presence felt. By the time we arrived at our destination we were totally relaxed. We had tea and Abdul gave us some great photo ideas! We not only enjoyed the peace that the moment gave us but we enjoyed Abdul's hospitality and willingness to share. He even let me drive on the way back! :)
