Overview
Experience the coastal beauty of Essaouira and learn new skills at the same time with this fun and beginner-friendly surfing lesson. To make the experience as hassle-free as possible, pickup is included, as well as wetsuit rental, shower facilities, and even photos of your experience. During the lesson, learn special warm-up exercises, and receive guidance on the fundamentals of surfing—such as how to take off, catch waves, and stand up.

Turned out that because my arms are shorter than my legs this type of surfing isn't for me. But I had lots of fun.

We decided to book this and give surfing a go, despite never having done it before. It was myself, my hubby and two girls 23 and 10. I was a little scared, but the people were very reassuring and got us quickly suited up. We grabbed some boards and a lad led us down to the beach carrying them. He went over the basics, his english was good and he answered any questions well. Once we were ready he took us into the water and we started to try and surf! It was so much fun, he helped get us started and we all kept trying until we got it! My ten year old was brilliant, and she did not want to stop she loved it that much. We are so glad we booked this and now we all know how to surf. It was so much fun and I would 100% recommend to anyone, thanks surfer dudes!

Total surfing newbies were excited to get wet! The teachers from Essaouira Watersports were patient, helpful, fun, energetic, and knew their stuff! I could comfortably, as a parent, feel that my child was safely in good hands with those who were excited to share their love of surfing with him. I was delighted to see my son's confidence grow, and by the end of the 2-hour session, he had a deeper appreciation for the skill involved in the sport and was very proud that he managed to get up on the board a few times!
**Wetsuit included. Bring a towel and shoes that are easy to get in and out of for the short walk to beach**

Very friendly place and very fun to do! Our student-instructor Ayoub was fantastic. Must-do activity in Essaouira!
Tip: Be a bit early so that you have enough time to put on the surfing suit 💪🏽

We had such a fantastic time learning to surf. Highly recommend this company; everyone was very nice and went out of their way to be helpful. Our instructor Ayoub (I hope I got that correct) was a great teacher and gave tips on how to improve as we were surfing. Special thanks to the boys who were at the surf school who lent us their shampoo when we forgot ours. Overall wonderful experience, you can’t go wrong with booking with them!!

I would recommend this experience to everyone!! I am already daydreaming about going back to Essaouria to take more lessons.
Wassim was a very patient and friendly teacher. I felt supported and challenged, and he really helped me grow my skills in such a short time. Everyone at the school was so kind too!

Rachis and his team were amazing! Very warm and caring, they suggested moving the date as there were no waves in the original day and they were right! On the new day definitely waves so we could learn. Wassim our trusty teacher was so kind and patient, we could not ask for more, thank you!

Magnifique expérience. Mehdi nous a appris les bases du surf. Il restait à proximité pour nous observer et nous corriger si besoin. Il était super aimable et professionnel.
Également, Suleyman c’est occupé de nous, il était très aimable et serviable. Nous avons eu le droit à de très belle photos. Toute l’équipe était top. N'hésitez pas une seconde pour l’activité !

Bella esperienza. Mamma, papà, ragazzo di 15 anni e bambina di 10 anni. Credevamo con una o due lezioni di non riuscire certamente a surfure invece soprattutto i ragazzi sono riusciti subito. Ci siamo divertiti tutti. Lo staff e l'istruttore sono stati puntuali e disponibili. L'istruttore ci ha spiegato con cura e passione e ci ha assistito passo passo con accoglienza e simpatia, valutando le esigenze specifiche di ognuno.

Acordé con Rashid el lugar de encuentro, llegó puntual y hablaba español, francés e inglés. Fuimos a la escuela de surf situada a 1 min caminando de la playa. Nos vestimos y fuimos a la clase de surf con Anas. Nunca antes habíamos surfeado. Anas fue muy atento y paciente. Hablaba perfectamente inglés y nos explicó con mucha dedicación la clase, tanto fuera del agua como dentro del mar. La experiencia fue maravillosa. Lo recomiendo muchísimo

Cuesta aprender al principio lo básico, pero luego es muy satisfactorio poner en práctica las claves que el instructor te enseña.
El profesor muy atento con los más nuevos y ayudando activamente a coger las olas.

Cette initiation surf nous a permis de beaucoup nous amuser avec nos 4 grands enfants (de 19 à 23 ans). Notre moniteur s'est adapté à notre niveau pour nous faire découvrir sa passion. A notre grande surprise, tout le monde a pu prendre des vagues en une matinée!
L'organisation est top. Combi, planches, explications, progession ..... le tout dans une ambiance super sympa. Douche et thé pour terminer, le top!
