We would HIGHLY recommend this activity without hesitation to anyone traveling to Essaouira. Our 2 hours with Momo were so fun and an absolute highlight of our time there.
As a complete beginner (with no aptitude for sports/water sports at all) I was very wary, but Momo instantly put me at ease and offered the most kind and encouraging (and individualized) instruction. He was super patient and motivating with me and my husband, and made the whole learning process very simple for both of us to follow. And yes- despite lots and lots of salt water up the nose, we were both able to stand up in the end :)
Momo also brought some water and snacks, and took photos for us which was appreciated. We liked the experience of being in a more secluded area, too.

10/10 - Awesome Surf lesson with Momo. We weren’t that up for surfing on the main beach in Essaouira so decided upon this trip. Momo picked us up and drove to a really chill beach just up the coast. Momo was really helpful and patient and by the end of the session both me and my girlfriend were standing. Really good vibes all morning. Would definitely recommend! ⭐️

My 9 year old son and I had so much fun surfing with Adil! He drove us to a safe, sandy, secluded beach with waves that were perfect for beginners and no rocks in sight. We spent a generous two hours practising our surf skills, with a quick training session beforehand, plenty of advice and encouragement while we were in the water, and a break for snacks and drinks. I appreciated that Adil made sure my son was safe and helped him with his surf board. We enjoyed it so much that my husband booked a session for himself and my son the next day — they had a blast too! Thank you!

When in Essouira, surfing was one of those activities I wanted to experience. Momo was patient, showed me a few techniques and in no time I was standing (dare I say surfing) and catching some waves. I had fun and will definitely be back at again.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time and got so much individualized attention that by the end he was consistently standing on the board! We got pictures sent to us by WhatsApp later and really loved this excursion — great for couples and small groups

A unique experience in Essaouria, we had never done surfing before and thanks to our monitor Adam we managed to stand up several times, also it is very friendly and pleasant, we will continue practicing!!

Una muy buena experiencia y muy buen precio en comparación con otros servicios de surfclass por la zona. Reservamos a una hora por comodidad y el chico nos escribió recomendándonos horas de mejor marea para surfear. Nos recogieron en un punto en Essaouira y nos llevaron a una playa en la que no había nadie. El profesor se adaptó a los diferentes niveles de las 3 amigas que íbamos y nos dejó también un rato a nuestro aire. Nos hizo fotos, vídeos e incluso nos trajo merienda.

Die 2h surfen waren eine tolle Erfahrung! Simo ist super nett und hat uns alles gut erklärt. Nach kurzer Zeit konnten wir beide schon ein Stück auf den Brettern stehen. Außer uns war an dem Strand nur noch ein Kite-Surfer mit seinem Sohn, ansonsten waren wir allein, was sehr schön zum Üben war. Ich hatte zuvor überlegt, ob ich einen 2- oder 4-stündigen Kurs buche, aber nach zwei Stunden merkt man schon wie die Kraft schwindet, die Zeit hat also total gereicht. Ich kann den Kurs bei Simo nur weiterempfehlen.

Era la mia prima volta su una tavola da Surf e l’istruttore (Simo) é stato davvero super gentile e paziente, spiegandomi i movimenti da eseguire e fornendomi continui feedback per comprendere come migliorare.
Ottimo anche il fatto che la lezione si é tenuta su una spiaggia completamente deserta. Questo mi ha dato la possibilità di provare e riprovare, prendendomi lo spazio necessario e senza il timore di scontrarmi con altri surfisti.
Ripeterò molto volentieri l’esperienza e la consiglio a tutti coloro che hanno piacere di iniziare o migliorare in questo splendido sport!
