This experience provides fantastic memories and great photo opportunities.
Yousef was an excellent photographer, lots of great suggestions which we made the most of.
The group was small, 6 people in total.
Dinner setting was special, good hearty food out on the beach.
It was well worth the walk back in the dark. We did some star gazing as well.
The guide, Yousef was very attentive, he was patient and escorted my sister in law by the elbow all the way back. She struggled with some of the walking and in the dark.

Provider said did not see our booking & so the taxi left without us then wanted triple the cost for a replacement taxi. We declined, they've agreed to refund but it was our last night of our holiday which left us without plans. Not great at all.

Took part in this experience our last night in Essaouira and it was probably the most unique place I’ve ever had dinner. The hike itself is about an hour long, not overly challenging, but running shoes are highly recommended given the rocky terrain, and then sand dunes. The waterfalls were quite underwhelming… not sure if this was due to low water levels at the time we visited or if they’re always like this? The dinner portion was good. When we arrived we were served thyme tea (would have preferred traditional Moroccan) and some cookies while dinner was prepared. I was expecting everyone to have their own tagine, but instead it was served family style, and because my husband does not eat fish, everyone was served the chicken option. I had really been looking forward to some fresh fish while he had chicken. The cave is well set up, with low tables, carpets to sit on and pillow to lean up against. It was a very windy day, and the cave was pretty sheltered from the wind. Our guide even made a small fire. I was expecting Moroccan lanterns on the tables (not sure why?) but it only had a few small torches on the rocks. Ambiance was ok, but lanterns would have pushed it over the top.
We ate as the sun set and were served oranges and bananas for dessert. Once the sun was close to setting, we made our way back to the vans. Transportation was not included but arranged for us by the operator, and I found that part expensive at 150 MAD per person for a 30 minute ride both ways. Overall it was enjoyable, and our guide was very nice and sweet. It just maybe fell short for me in a couple of areas. It was certainly a very unique experience though.

A great evening with an easily arranged shared taxi to the location, a lovely walk through flora to the beautiful cave setting for dinner. You could choose vegetarian, fish or chicken individually to eat. Afterwards you walk underneath the stars back to the road where the taxi is waiting. Youssef was fantastic too

We had the most amazing hike during sunset hours. The scenery was absolutely spectacular and our guide was wonderful, taking great pictures, video memories and sharing information about the culture.

I’ve been coming to Essaouira for years, and when some friends came to visit, I wanted to plan something truly unique beyond the usual Medina and beach experience. The tour guides arranged a taxi to take us to the cascades, about a 45-minute drive south of Essaouira near Sidi Kaouki. Our driver dropped us along the highway where we met our guide, who led us on a scenic hike down to the cascades, which were absolutely beautiful.
From there, he took us to a stunning overlook where we could see both the cascades and the point where the stream flows into the ocean, right beside towering sand dunes that looked like the Sahara.
