Lizette and xavier were great tour guides. We had 3 amazing tacos. We visited the our lady of Guadalupe, taco factory, winery tasting, and flea market. The guides were very knowledgeable about Ensenada’s history and although we were biking on the streets, we felt safe!

Great time for us, a 14 year old and nine-year old!

Great time Lizzette and Javier went above and beyond! Tacos were awesome. Surprise end at a city winery and ice cream shop!

Great way to get to know the city

Easy bike ride to three taco stands with different approaches, lots of fun. The first was a taco cart in the street, second (the best) was a fairly permanent stall on the sidewalk, and the third was a bricks and mortar cafe next to the Mercado Negro (fish market). All were wonderful, and Javier knew their specialities, so we got the benefit of that. Javier was a great guide, and gave us an excellent overview of the city and its history along the way.. they only take couples or family groups, so you get a lot of attention.

This fish taco tour on bicycle was fantastic! Our guide, Astrid, and her two partners were great. The tacos were all very tasty and they did a very good job explaining details about the food we were eating. We felt safe on the bicycles, there were always two guides riding with us, one in the front one in the back. We traveled with our two teenage sons and we did this tour as an excursion on our cruise stop in Ensenada. We would love to do this tour again someday.

Fantastic experience, More than just tacos (but the best tacos ever), small group!!!

My 13-year-old and I did a bike tour of Ensenada where Xavier took us from the most excellent taco stand to the most excellent taco spot to the next most excellent taco stand, cultural sites in between. It was such a great experience highly recommended! Gave lots of information about the places.

    So much fun!!!

We went for my best friend’s bachelorette and all of us girls had a blast! We had a chance to get familiar with the bikes and the different gears while in the parking lot before riding on the streets, and felt safe with Lizette and her two guides. I enjoyed the history lesson and of course the delicious tacos!!!

SO MUCH FUN! A must-do in Ensenada

If you're looking for an authentic experience led by locals for the REAL Ensenada, look no further than this tour with Lizette and Xavi! This tour is a MUST DO if you're looking to try the best tacos in Ensenada and Lizette and Xavi definitely know their tacos. Who knew that Ensenada had such a rich and beautiful history and wonderful culinary scene that you won't find on the Districto Historico (aka mini Cancun). We were taken on nice, sturdy bikes through the busy and beautiful streets of the town to see the not only the best tacos in the region but we stopped by the beautiful cathedral and even got a private tour of a tortilla factory! Whether you're coming to Ensenada from a cruise or visiting by land, do yourself a favor and book this tour! You will not regret it!

    Excellent taste of Ensenada

This excursion far exceeded our expectations. Lisette and Xavier were fabulous hosts and hired an extra guide to keep us safe on the bikes when one person was unsure of her cycling skills. We got to try 4 different kinds of tacos, some real Mexican hot chocolate and coffee, and learned a ton about the area. One of the best shore excursions we’ve ever done anywhere. We highly recommend it.

    Highly recommend, must-do tour!

Xavier and Lizette were so much fun and patient with us learning the bikes! We got to try some amazing tacos and stopped at a cool place to taste olive oil. The town is beautiful and the guides are very knowledgeable! We left feeling like we made the best of our time in port and that we had made some friends.

    Well worth it!

Our tour guides were extremely friendly, very knowledgeable about the history of the area, and great guides thru town on our bikes. Each taco spot had its own unique style and the carnitas tacos were the best I've ever eaten. And definitely try the chocolate water if you get the chance.

Something different to do w kids!

A different way to see Ensenada! Great tacos and company. Non-touristy option and fun to do with young cyclists.

Great bike tour and tacos! Highly recommend.

Brief synopsis: Lizette and Javier were fabulous! They are from the area and will give you a brief history on just about everything in Ensenada. It is a perfect mix of exercise and great food/drinks. A few tips. Lizette and Javier will text you a few days before you arrive (and the day before) to set a meet location and time. Tip #1 - You may want to provide them with the sizes of the people riding bikes. My daughter is short (5'2") and the first bike she tried was way to tall for her. Probably best to get accurate bike sizes before you arrive. Tip #2 - We met at the flagpole around 1130am so get there a little early. When you get off the ship you can take the shuttle for $4 per person (both ways) or, you can walk to the meet location. Do you research beforehand to see how long it can take you to get to downtown from the ship. Probably a 15 minute walk for most people. Their shop isn't far from the flagpole. Tip #3 - Wear good shoes (not sandals). You're riding a mountain bike through busy streets, which, brings me to Tip #4 - Have a working knowledge of bike/traffic safety. Lizette and Javier are riding front and back but it's a good idea to understand traffic right of ways and proper bike etiquette. Tip #5 - DO NOT EAT before the ride. You won't want to be stuffed after the first stop. You'll be full by the end of the tour. Bring a little extra cash for additional tacos or drinks you may want to try. There are multiple stalls and vendors you may stop at. The tour was great. I couldn't have been more happy with our experience. Because no other parties had booked a tour that day, Lizette and Javier were more than happy to spend the day with us. The tour was advertised as a 2-hour tour but we stretched it to 4 hours! We had so much fun and I would highly recommend using them as your tour guides. When I go back, I will definitely tour with them again! They are so kind and knowledgeable. We had a blast and the food was amazing! They also provided us with a video of our day with them. 6 out of 5 stars!
