When I booked this tour, being a former river kayaker, I wasn't sure what to expect, but if you want to take home a lasting memory – this is the tour. The tour guides are friendly and informative. Lucia, Fernando, and the driver (apologies to him for forgetting his name, he was hard at work driving- (good thing too given the roads into the park) welcomed everyone. Everyone did an excellent job – gave clear instructions and encouragement to get us ready for the paddle.
The trip included a filling box lunch given to us after the paddle with time to enjoy it at the Perito Merino Glacier’s boardwalk. Thus, we saw both north and south faces of this incredible monument to nature.
Everyone may not enjoy the same sunny weather and medium velocity wind. Yet, you will discover as you float on the water in your two-person kayak that the glacier has something to tell you. Sometimes in a soft whisper, sometimes in a grumpy groan as a chunk of thousand-year-old ice splinters off the wall’s edge and splashes into the lake.
I recommend this tour to experienced kayakers or newbies. I even left behind a lucky, black sock so I’ll have to return one day.

Very helpful team. Nice focus on enjoying the quiet and beauty of the glacier. Very willing to help take pictures and give you the most enjoyable natural experience you can. Help them out by having a tether for your phone/camera so they don't have to worry about dropping YOUR phone while they're helping take a picture of you.

Kayaking to the Glaciar was a unique experience, we were so glad we got to see it that way. The tour guides were very helpful and knowledgeable.

It was such a fantastic way to see the glacier! We did all the hikes around the glacier so we saw it from each vantage point but it was so amazing to be in the water, up close to it. Perito Moreno glacier was incredible but the kayak experience took it to the next level.

This was so awesome! We had great guides who were friendly, knowledgeable, and safety conscious.
We highly recommend this activity when in El Calafate.

Everything was perfectly organised and run. The staff is super friendly and approachable. You get high quality equipment. The kayaking is 1,5h long, then you have 3h to explore the walksides on your own.

Our guides were very knowledgeable and kind. We were able to get on the water for about ten minutes but unfortunately due to strong wind our guides had to cancel the excursion. We did get a full refund. I do appreciate that they tried to get us out on the water for a bit before they canceled.

Everybody was very nice: the chauffeur, the guides from the kayak,… the timing was perfect! We had enough time in the kayaks and enough time on the walkway. The group was bigger then 10 people (double) but it was ok! Really nice experience.
The lunch was a cold sandwich with chicken and a lot of snaks (quiche, nuts, apple, cake,…) very nice!

This day was incredible, and the glacier exploration was one of the best things we did on our trip to Argentina. The staff was communicative before and during our trip, and made special arrangements for our hotel pickup. Then, all the details like the drive into Parque Nacional Los Glaciers, the lunch and the timing were done well. And the actual adventure kayaking to the glacier was fun and stunning. We had more than enough time to explore the glacier walkways afterward as well. Perfect day.

This excursion was truly an amazing one. The day was perfect for it . We saw the glaciers at a whole different view. Our guide on sept 16th 23 was amazing and very informative . It’s a must to do while in el calafate .

What a unique experience, to be able to kayak so close to a magnificent glacier. The experience was just as described. We felt very safe doing this. The company provided all the equipment needed for cold-water kayaking. The guides were knowledgable and emphasized safety, and they even had a powerboat (following at a distance so as not to interrupt the kayak experience) in case of emergencies. Their description is accurate that no previous kayaking experience is necessary. We felt it was worth what we paid for the experience.
