Non-residents: it must be the same with which they enter Argentina. • Entrance to the National Park must be purchased online in advance. • Please inform food restrictions if any, 24 hs in advance. • Must complete Digital Affidavit to enter Chile 24 hs prior to departure Phytosanitary controls: Meals are included and are plentiful, however, you can bring extra food or drink, which must be dry and packaged. It is forbidden to bring fresh food such as meats, fruits, and vegetables. • Every passenger must check in advanced visas and special permits to travel between Argentina and Chile according to their passport nationality. The road to el Paine is not smooth, but we barely felt it in the large truck. But there are NO short cuts, you have to drive southeast to Esperanza and head back southwest to the border near Cancha Carrera. There are 2 border controls: one to cross out of Argentina and the other to enter Chile separated by a 10 min drive. So it is a very, very long drive, lots of stops and long lines just to get in and out. Once you get to the park, the views are stunning, makes you wish for more enjoyment time. Loved the hike to the fall and the lake, certainly windy too!. Plenty of food was provided, and found the tour convenient since we had such limited time in Calafate. But if I were to go back, will stay in Puerto Natales

Absolutely stunning mountain scenery! Great tour guide. Excellent way to see the mountains in an efficient and safe way. Lovely hike. Nice boxed lunch. Lots of stops to allow for restroom breaks, souvenir shopping, coffee/food, passports review, etc. Highly recommend!

Carla and Harry were GREAT! Carla was like a teacher shepherding her students through the best field trip of their lives. Alway patient, knowledgeable, super pleasant, and very clear in both english and spanish. The group we were with also had many friendly people. And, of course, the Torres del Paine park was spectacular... even in slightly rainy weather.

It’s a long day traveling but time well spent, the guide was extremely informative on all aspects of the journey including the wildlife and the ecosystem we were passing through and the views were stunning, would most definitely recommend it, the experience of crossing the border from Argentina to Chile was an experience in itself and I’m glad we did it verses trying to do it on our own. And the lunch was quite good.

As other reviews have said, it is a very long day but the rewards are great. The scenery is spectacular in the national park with plenty of photo opportunities and the hike is spectacular. We were lucky enough to spot a puma on our way back.

Amazing scenery, truly stunning and a must see.
Very long drive on very bumpy transport. Fairly comfortable, but constantly bouncing around. Certainly 10hrs of travel, which is okay, about 4hrs in the park. Travel group way too large, 39 of us, which means long queuing at passport control, 2lots each way, and even coffee stops, got no chance to get anything, as only get 10mins there. Should be 16max, would put me off recommending.

Regarding your comment about border crossing times, we want to clarify that customs controls are handled by official agencies and are outside our control. On certain dates or under certain conditions, delays may occur due to high passenger volume, something beyond our direct management. However, we always strive to organize logistics as efficiently as possible and minimize waiting times.
Regarding the transfer, the route to Torres del Paine includes sections of gravel road typical of the Patagonian landscape. While we use vehicles specially prepared for this type of terrain, such as high-end off-road vehicles, some movement during the journey is unavoidable due to the natural conditions of the road.
The gravel roads are prepared for the season, but when the rains arrive, they become very poor condition. Our overland vehicles withstand the rough road conditions very well because they are fully prepared, but we know that people on board will feel a slight movement; unfortunately, we cannot eliminate it completely.
Even so, we are delighted to know that you were able to enjoy this unique experience, exploring one of the most breathtaking destinations in the region.

Sylvester was amazing! This trip included several stops for using the bathroom and a few to purchase a snack or food. You do not need to pack food ahead of time.
Before entering the park, we made several stops at various look out points to take pictures and walk around. Very helpful when sitting in a bus for a while.
The park was absolutely stunning. We had just under two hours to wander and explore. After this you wish you were staying in Torres del Paine for more time but this was so convenient to visit and see when staying in El Calafate.

This was a great tour and a convenient way to see Torres del Paine from El Calafate. Our guides made sure we saw all the highlights, even when the weather turned on us midway through. The provided lunch was good and sufficient to cover both lunch and a light dinner. Our only disappointment was that the tour no longer uses the shortcut the buses were designed for, so it’s still the usual 8 hours of driving, which was a surprise and a bit disappointing, as we chose this tour over others for that reason.

It’s such an adventure to spend the full day on the road and travel to Chile from Argentina for only few hours, but it is definitely worth it. Fourteen hours of pure joy surrounded by gorgeous nature and wild animals.
Our wonderful guide and driver made this experience very special with a careful drive, an easy border crossing, and many interesting facts about Argentina and Chile.
We were blessed with beautiful weather, and as a final gift we had the chance to stop and simply enjoy a stunning sunset.

No doubt this is a long bus ride but if you only have one day and want to see Torres Del Paine from El Calafate this is the way to do it. The bus was comfortable and had WiFi. The weather cooperated so the scenic stops provided some spectacular scenery. There is a hike as part of the itinerary so we were able to walk for about 1.5 hours to take in some more of nature's magnificent beauty

Had a fabulous day with Silvester and Ricky. Everything was smoothly handled, and considering the multiple border crossings, it wasn't a given. I won't lie; it's an incredibly long day. But we actually felt energised at the end because of the privilege of seeing nature at its best. This was our best day in Patagonia and I credit the team for making our experience so amazing. Oh and the lunch is as generous as described by others - 2 sliced bread sandwiches of the same kind (beef and cheese), a small muffin, nuts, juice, water, a small puff pastry, and an alfajores.

The 4x4 tour is a great way to experience Torres del Paine if you only have one day to spare in your schedule. The tour company handles everything and communicates your responsibilities clearly and frequently. The team was very responsive to my questions before the tour. The bus starts out very rough in town during the hotel pick ups, but the ride smoothes out as soon as you are on the highway. Don’t fret if you are prone to motion sickness, all will be fine. The food is plentiful. The lunches included 2 sandwiches and an empanada with a dessert and drink to be eaten throughout the day. The vegetarian and gluten free lunches were rice with vegetables. There are frequent stops to purchase additional snacks too.

Torres Del Paine Full Day Overland Truck was excellent. The scenery was outstanding and well worth the vey long time spent travelling there and back. The guide was extremely friendly and helpful. The lunch box was very filling, but could have been handed out at the first stop to give us time to eat it all during the day.

We paid over £130 per person plus park entrance ( £27 each ) for this Torres del Paine tour and had a truly awful experience.
The company picked us up an hour late with no communication. Because we were last, my partner and I were forced to sit separately for a 12-hour bus journey, with one of us in a terrible seat with no view.
When I politely raised this, the guide did not resolve it. Instead, after I contacted the office, he announced over the microphone that I had complained, which led to mockery and hostility from other passengers. I was publicly embarrassed and made to feel extremely uncomfortable.
Even at the end of the tour, the guide brought it up again on the microphone, triggering more comments as we left.
This was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. A tour guide should never single out or humiliate a guest for raising a legitimate concern.
I would strongly advise against booking this tour.

We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations and we would like to clarify a few operational aspects of our regular Torres del Paine tour.
Pick-up for this excursion begins at 6:30 a.m. and is carried out using three different vehicles, following a predefined route and schedule. While we always aim to respect the estimated times, delays can occasionally occur on regular tours, as multiple hotels and passengers are involved. Unfortunately, this is an inherent characteristic of shared services.
Regarding seating arrangements, on regular (shared) tours seats cannot be guaranteed, particularly for passengers who are picked up last along the route. In these cases, it may happen that companions are not seated together, depending on vehicle occupancy at the time of boarding.
We would also like to clarify the guide’s role in this situation. The guide, Nico, is an experienced professional with excellent group management skills. When the issue was first mentioned over the microphone, it was done solely with the intention of asking whether any passenger would be willing to change seats so that you and your partner could sit together. As you continued to express your discomfort about being seated separately, Nico repeated the request a second time over the microphone, again with the same intention of finding a solution. Unfortunately, no passenger volunteered to change seats.
While we cannot control or be held responsible for the reactions or comments of other passengers, we can assure you that Nico’s intention at all times was to resolve the situation and ensure your comfort.
It is truly unfortunate that this situation overshadowed the overall experience and prevented you from fully enjoying the excursion. We know that the weather conditions that day were excellent and that the tour itself was carried out under very good conditions.
We regret that this situation resulted in such a low rating for our company due to factors that go beyond our direct control. However, we understand that reviews are often the only channel available to express frustration, and we respect your decision to share your perspective.

We did a full day tour of Torres del Paine. Even though it was a large bus of people, the guide made the trip feel personalized. We had amazing weather and got to see beautiful views–not something that always happens! The guide was very knowledgeable about the region, explaining the differences between the Argentinian and Chilean side of the park, and why they look different. The tour was a full day, and he spent at least 75% of the trip giving commentary in both English and Spanish. He talked about the animals, nature, geology, and history of Patagonia. He was also able to answer any questions the group posed. The border crossings were a breeze thanks to his clear instructions and familiarity with the process. In addition, we got to get out and do small hikes/walks in one area, as well as stop for pictures frequently. I would highly recommend this tour as a way to get to see a wide variety of the park in one day and get introduced to the area. While you will spend most of the day on the bus (which thankfully had very comfy seats!), you will get a good overview and lots of information that will make the rest of your trip even more interesting!
