This is a must do and make sure to select the option with navigation. It was an incredible experience and journey to the glacier Perito Moreno. Our tour guide Alexandra did a superb job with all the information she gave us during the hour it took to get from El Calafate town to the glacier park. The sceneries are breath taking and we were lucky to see a piece of the glacier falling in the water.
We definately recommend this tour. It is worth it.

Perito Moreno is a blast. Just incredible. Our guide was good. The reason I give this 3 stars is the fact that it is extremely overpriced for what it offers. It should I have the park fees or the boat fees included. You pay over 80 euros for a transfer for which you can get for much cheaper and some information about the places we visit. Also I believe that if the tour would have first gone to the walking area and then go to the boat area, many people would reconsider going on the boat ride, as the walking place is enough. Then again if you don't do a boat tour you get to wait a lot.
I believe this is an organisation thing that goes beyond the powers of the tour guides themselves.
Book a car in advance instead and do it on your own!

Had an absolutely thrilling day looking at the Pietro Moreno glacier up close, first from the boat and then by trekking. The guide was efficient and guided us for an unforgettable experience. No hassle with the tickets. The day was gorgeous, sunny and not too cold so we could take lots of pictures. Overall smooth operation. Will recommend

It's impossible to imagine visiting El Calafate and not seeing the Glacier and paying for the hour long boat trip. The tour was worth it and Alejandra was excellent as the guide, patient, informative and relaxed. We had plenty of time, 2 hours, after the cruise to explore the Glacier from the walkways including getting something to eat at the crowded Cafe. Even if the weather is less than perfect (we had low cloud and occasional light rain) the Glacier and the surrounding scenery is magnificent. The walkways are easy to navigate and much of it is wheelchair accessible. The beautiful scenery is from start to finish with snow-capped mountains visible, small icebergs in the lake and through small forests. Park tickets can be paid for by card or cash at the entrance to the park. While we didn’t have to show any ID it's recommended to have at least a photo of your passport bio page.

Very well organized with tour co. GPS and Martín as our guide and driver Claudio. Communication was very effective as to pick up and the bus was on time. On our way, Martín talked about the glacier and its history. A Very well informed and cheerful guide, Martín told us how to maximize our time in Perito Moreno, which trails, what boat, etc. Martín speaks English very well; our tour was in Spanish and English. The tour went beyond our expectations. Highly recommend this tour company and guide.

The experience is fabulous - Perito Moreno is breathtaking.....but we wished we would have had the chance to choose which side of the Glacier to visit....clearly the North part is much prettier - deep blue water . I felt a little deceiving to go to the south part (brown dark water) I felt a a little more information regarding how to choose the ferry would have been nice

The excursion to Perito Moreno glacier was one of our best days of our trip! Our guide (Ines) was really relevant by telling us a bunch of information about the glacier and about Argentina and we found it very nice that she had pictures to show us: maps, animals, etc. The boat ride to get closer to the glacier was crowded (everyone wanted to take their best photo shot) but the boat turned around multiple times so everyone could have their chance to see well the glacier. After that, we had a few options of hikes so everyone could chose the one that best fits them. During those hikes, there were many viewpoints and this is where we got the best pictures of the glacier. Hearing the « glacier voice » was also impressive.

If you are English speaking be aware the tour guide Veronica knows very little English. She went on in Spanish for 15 minutes of explaining and English were merely few sentences hardly 2-3 mins. Even when a spot comes she would explain it in Spanish first n it would say about that spot in English way behind it was gone. Guide was horrible and didn’t give proper instructions. At one point I crossed the road to take pictures and next thing I know a police officer comes up to me yelling and shouting that why did I cross road. We were not told by Veronica that in el Calafate we are not allowed to cross the road at all. She just didn’t give us this information. Then regarding the park pass she said the pass is valid for two days but she gave us a pass which was for one entry only. Cheated us there too. Regarding van parking at boat ride she dropped us off at the top n asked us to walk down the mountain where as all the other buses n vans dropped ppl off near the boat only. She wouldn’t even consider some ppl were elderly n couldn’t walk. On way back the driver drove recklessly so we could get back quicker. I had to tell her that there was nothing for us to hold so please drive slow at turnings atleast. Not good trip at all. The glacier is amazing though. The tour company horrible. Don’t book this company with Viator. Book with other companies.

Stunning views and amazing experience. We did a 1hr boat tour to the glacier which took our breath away. Don’t miss this if planning a trip. The second part of the tour which was a self-guided and self paced was beautiful. The vistas of the glacier from both the north and south side were spectacular. The GPS tour host, (Bett) and the driver, Carlos, did a great job of pointing out history and geography of the place enroute and were extremely pleasant and informative.
