Check out the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier, which can reach up to over 260ft (80m) high, on this full day trek, either guided or non-guided- your choice. You'll have a chance to walk along the glacier walkways, and get tons of photos from viewpoints along the way. This tour starts in Los Glaciares National park, which is about 50m (80km) from El Calafate.

We had the most amazing day from start to finish. Natalia shared so much knowledge on the journey to the Glaciar. We were shown maps and pictures of the area and wild life. Our driver was super careful, courteous and friendly. Thank you for a wonderful well organised day to the most beautiful glacier.

The whole day is amazing. The boat ride compliments the viewing walkways perfectly. Even the bus ride is entertaining, with the tour guide proving interesting facts about the area.

A wonderful excursion and a very accessible way to experience the glacier. Seeing it from the boat and during an easy hike makes the whole experience very special. One of the highlights is stopping to watch the glacier calving… it is an incredible and unforgettable moment.

We enjoyed this excursion. The time flies by quickly and our guide Noella was good at providing information during the more monotonous parts (the drive back and forth). Everything was clearly explained, obviously slightly better in Spanish, but still more than sufficiently in English. The glacier itself is amazing and we enjoyed having the time to do both the boat ride and the walkways, as they provide different but valuable perspectives. I've heard people say that this can be expensive compared to just going it alone, and while that may be true, the convenience of having everything handled and not driving ourselves was worth it for us.

Amazing glacier bus tour in El Calafate from Patagonia dreams. The ride was comfortable, and our lady guide was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the glaciers and Patagonia’s nature. The views of Perito Moreno Glacier were absolutely breathtaking, and watching the ice calve was truly unforgettable. Highly recommended!

This was a fantastic way to see the Perito Moreno glacier and all the nature around it. Thr transportation from the hotel was on time, comfortable and safe. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and took good care of us during the tour. She gave us important information, answered our questions and was punctual.

A must do! Tour guide on bus was really informative. Absolutely do the 1 hour boat ride to get up close to the glacier. Astounding! Walkways for different viewpoints were great and well maintained.

An absolutely spectacular day - the perfect way to see this natural treasure. One must include the optional "navigation" (one hour boat ride) which accompanies this excursion. Provider was timely with pickup, nice bus and a knowledgeable guide who was fluent in both English and Spanish. This was likely the highlight of a lengthy stay in Argentina and Patagonia.

A must do in Patagonia! Do not skip the boat. There is plenty of time to walk in front/side of glacier. The boat gets you up close, wow. Our guide Laura was knowledgeable and efficient, perfect English and Spanish. Downloaded a lot of information on the glacier, the area, and other related topics. Claudio our driver was safe and professional driver extrodenaire. A memory to last a lifetime.

We did the activity in early December. and found it to be phenomenal. The view of the glacier from the boat and even more so from the trails, was often breathtaking. We were lucky to see glacier pieces breaking off and creating a tidal wave.

You don’t really need hiking gear at all. The park simply requires flat shoes. It can be chilly, we went in late December, so a hat/scarf and a few layers are great! The boat portion was by far the highlight for us. The whole tour was very well managed.

It was a mind blowing experience to see Perito Merino glacier up front from the boat and then from the walkway. You can hear the sound (like thunderstorm) of huge ice sheet breaking out of the glacier, see icebergs floating on the glacial lake. It is truly a mesmerizing once in a lifetime experience.

Also having 3 hours to do the walkways was great. And the driver of the bus, with high gust winds (traveling in Dec and Jan) with with high winds, made the ride feeling pretty safe. The bus was very clean and comfortable

Well organized. Enough time to explore and enjoy the glacier. They had opportunities for restroom breaks which is great if you're traveling with kids and elders. The guide explained many things about the area the entire hour long drive to the park.

The walk to the glaciers was beautiful. I also did the boat ride and that was definitely not necessary. You’ll get a great view from the park and walking so skip the boat and you’ll have more time there especially if weather is nice and can enjoy the views longer . Our guide was amazing and the van was comfy.

One of the most beautiful most spectacular landscapes I have ever seen. We took the trip to Perita Moreno glacier and from the moment you see the glacier from afar it is mesmerising. The boat trip is a must as you get so close to the glacier Ice face and the colours are just incredible. The walkways on the trails were easily manageable and gave you a different perspective from above to see the Bass of glacier. it was one of the most spectacular sites I have ever seen. The only criticism I have of the trip was that I chose an English trip and the guide was English and Spanish so you had to wait for her to finish the Spanish part before saying the English part not a huge deal

The bus is large and with 46 people there was confusion and time spent about getting tickets to the park and who paid for the boat ride. We were at the back of the bus and had difficulty hearing the guide and could not see any of the visuals he referrenced and he never walked to the back. We had purchased our park tickets ahead of time as requested by the company, however, it would have been helpful to know that there is no internet and we should have had a copy of our receipt of payment. Many people had not purchased their tickets and this required a lot of time waiting for people and hearding them back into the bus. That said, the tour guide was very pleasant, kind and knowledgeable. The boat ride was stunning and we had plenty of time on the water to take photos and move around the boat for different views. The cafe at the walk ways and balconies was clean and had ample bathrooms for all the passengers on the many buses coming and going. They had a nice selection of food and drinks, but if you’d like to save time waiting in line for lunch, BYO. We had 2 hours to walk the pathways which was enough, but we did keep a steady pace. We saw all but two of the balcony overlooks. There is a wheelchair accessible ramp to the first balcony and then there are a lot of stairs for the remaining balconies. The stairs are very stable and in sets of 6 with good railings throughout. The views are amazingly beautiful and awe-inspiring. Overall, the bus was clean and the drivers was skilled. It was a solidly good experience. I’m guessing there are better.
