Amazing tour!
We had a wonderful time! Our guide Federico was amazing, he took care of us very well from start to finish. Everything was well-organised and both the tour operator and guide were very responsive.

In these two days we saw everything we could have hoped for! Trails are well marked but easy to miss a turn, cell service is low and the pacesetting and breaks of Catrel made it all enjoyable !!!

Amazing experience!
Amazing experience! Very well organised with nice lunches and dinner provided. The whole trekking and lake is amazing (even though it the elevation to laguna de los tres might be a bit hard for absolute beginners)

Great way to see entire park
Transportation was easy to find. We got two packed lunches with plenty of food and dropped off at Rio Eléctrico which is a huge advantage because you save yourself an uphill climb from el chalten. Previous reviews made me nervous about finding the trails so I downloaded the trail on All Trails which is accurate. We had perfect weather so we would have been fine without the trail downloaded. Sometimes the trail branches but it all comes back together anyways. To find the camp, the guide explained what sign to look for so make sure you understand that! The host at the camp was so sweet and accommodating. He made us a three course dinner with a glass of wine, booted up his wifi connection to check the weather for us, and also made us breakfast with hot coffee. We went up the Fitz Roy/Laguna de los Tres on the first day because of the weather forecast. So Day 2 for us was a late morning start and a an easy steady hike to see Cerro Torre and make it back to El Chalten by 4:30. Overall it was exactly what we wanted!

Laguna Torre
  • Though long, the hike to Laguna Torre has one of the lowest elevation gains out of the El Chalten hikes, making it one of the easiest
  • You’ll need high-quality hiking gear to help you stay warm and tackle the rugged terrain of this hike, including sturdy hiking shoes
  • There are places to camp overnight throughout the 11-mile (18-kilometer) trail, which is well-marked throughout
  • Depending on your fitness level, the hike takes between six and nine hours to complete
