A lovely experience to learn about the history, vegetation and lives of the people so many millions of years ago. Our guide, Mel, was amazing, so knowledgeable, kind and patient. The lamb stew was delicious!! A great way to experience the culture of the place.

Such a fun a night! We spotted a fox on the way. Beautiful sunset photos. Really enjoyed seeing and discussing the drawings and the indigenous way of life. Dinner was magical in the cave and enjoyed by the whole family.

Excellent experience. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the Patagonian and Walichu history and made the tour very enjoyable. We also enjoyed the food and wine once we got to the cave and the drive through the Argentinean lake

It's a drive over uneven terrain to a very windy spot that you cannot even enjoy. Then a walk along the Argentina lake to see some painting of a long gone people. Not really much to see or do. The highlight is the food served inside an open cave. Food was good and plenty.

We regret that some aspects of the tour were not to your complete liking. The uneven terrain is part of the adventure, as we cross the steppe along the shore of Lake Argentino in 4x4 vehicles, specifically designed for this type of terrain. This allows for a more authentic experience, closer to nature.
The descent to Mirador del Acantilado offers spectacular panoramic views of Lake Argentino and the Andes Mountains, which many of our visitors consider a highlight of the tour. In addition, the visit to the archaeological site, more than 4,000 years old, is a cultural treasure of great importance, as it has been declared an Archaeological Site of Provincial and National Interest.

This was the best way to experience the colours the lake has to offer.

Short and sweet tour, ~2 hours of driving and ~2 hours of stops and dinner. The stops were short but interesting, enough time for good photos, and the dinner was excellent, both food and setting (wine included!). A nice way to get a panoramic view of Lago Argentina. Our guide Cristian was excellent, very friendly and kind and informative with information.

Really enjoyed this half day tour. Our guide was very informative and the view of Lake Argentina was beautiful. Really liked the cave drawings and wished we had more time there. Dining in the cave was a fantastic and delicious experience. Food was awesome and we enjoyed the company at out table. A perfect ending to our El Calafate stay.

We decided on this half day tour and frankly were not sure what to expect We really enjoyed the information shared by our guide, the party we travelled with and the beautiful vistas of Lago Argentina as well as the history of the native peoples, their ancient writings and stories of their culture and lives. Finally the catered lunch set up in the cave environment with a view of the natural surroundings was amazing and delicious We UNEQUIVOCALLY recommend you take this journey You won’t be sorry!

My husband and I loved the scenic vistas, the cave tour, and dinner in the cave. It was incredible! The jeep ride was quite bumpy - so if you are motion sick prone, be prepared!
It was such a unique way to see El Calafate.

It was fun. The lake was definitely worth it. The cave(s) was interesting. It would have been nice to get more information about the natives that lived in the area, liked what happened to them. Christian was a great guide.

We had a wonderful guide.The scenery and lunch were extraordinary. The native paintings were very faint and sparse, although the guide was well versed in the history and meaning. I would recommend it as a filler tour, but definitely Perito Moreno and El Chalten are the frontrunners.

Es una experiencia que no deben perderse!!! Magia, historia, en su recorrido y al llegar a la caverna, comimos un carbonada dentro de un pan casero que no lo puedo describir, tienen que probarlo y si a eso le sumamos que lo acompañamos con un vinito tinto bien argento!!!, todo esto hizo una noche unica!!!

Excursão basicamente se resume ao jantar na caverna. Visita ao sítio arqueológico com explicações muito rápidas.
Nos buscaram no hotel às 18h e às 21h já estávamos de volta.

O jantar estava ótimo e o passeio é bem interessante. Mas quando fiz a compra havia duas opções de horário mais tarde (às 18h e às 19h). Eu comprei o passeio de 19h, para garantir que o nosso jantar seria à noite na caverna, já que estávamos no final de novembro.
Pra nossa surpresa, já lá na viagem, nos passarsm pro grupo de 18h. Imaginamos que talvez tivessem feito um grupo só, unindo os 2 horários, por falta de clientes. Mas quando estávamos indo embora, depois de jantarmos com luz do dia, tinha um outro grupo chegando. E esse grupo sim, que seria o nosso, deve ter jantado à noite ou vendo o pôr do sol. Fiquei chateada com essa falha. Nos passaram pra um horário que não compramos, sem nos avisar e obviamente sem a nossa concordância.
