Chris was very personable and knowledgeable about the beers and the five bars we went too. We loved every minute of our tour. Would highly recommend. I would recommend eating before the your or you will feel the five beers for sure!!!!

I waited 30 minutes for tour operator to show up at the assigned pick up location but they did not show or communicate with me. Very disappointing since I was looking forward to this tour as part of my trip to Dusseldorf.

Bit of an issue with the numbers and got asked to move to a later slot, which was ok for us. Was quite a big group and the guide had to say everything twice in German and in English! We had fun though

This was an okay tour. Apparently all the brewhouses are closed on Monday, which they fail to tell you until you meet for the tour. If you attend on another day outside of Monday, I think you would get a much better experience. I feel compared to others I was more cheated in getting a lesser experience for the same price. If I had known, I wouldn't have booked it at all.

Wonderful tour! Moritz was a fantastic guide who was both informative and fun. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who is looking to learn about the history of Altbier in Düsseldorf. It was a great way to try a variety of different Altbier to find a favorite. Definitely well worth the price.

Brilliant fun and very informative.
We had a great night with Horst who looked after us. The tour covered some of the history of Düsseldorf too, which added to the experience.

Andreas (“Andy”) was punctual and friendly. We had to wait a few minutes for the last guests to arrive, but then the tour went smoothly. We moved quickly from brewery to brewery sampling various dunkel (dark) beers. We learned about the brewing process (they use roasted barley) to achieve the dark beer look and taste). Overall, we enjoyed going to the various beer halls and even returned to one of them (Zum Schlüssel) the next day for a meal and more beer.

The experience was great, the guide was really good. Friendly, telling all the stories and funny jokes about the area and their cultural particularity. Even thought it was raining the whole time we had a great time walking to each brewery and getting to know the Altbier culture

The weather was frightful but our guide Kim was delightful. We learned about the different ‘house’ breweries and tasted beer from all of them. The breweries were all within easy walking distances from each other. We also learned about the history of Düsseldorf. If we had to do this tour again, I would recommend doing it at the beginning of our visit so that we could have a better knowledge of Düsseldorf for the remainder of our stay.

What can I say this was one of the best drinking tours we have been to. Our guide Kristoph (apologies for the spelling) was amazing, he was soooo knowledgeable and introduced us to Getman drinking culture and etiquette which is a must if you’ve never been before. Due to corona we were the only English guests but he was very accommodating and we didn’t feel left out at all, intact we spoke to all the German guests who were lovely, one lady even bought us a German beer snack which we had at the last bar called Mettbrötchen (raw pork sandwich) I know it sounds vile but it was AMAZING!. Don’t miss out on this fantastic tour or you will regret it

This is a really good tour to learn about the Düsseldorf beer culture and taste 5 great beers
Are guide was extremely friendly and helpful ( I was on my own , with around another 10 who were together)
The guide ( unfortunately I can’t remember her name )
Spoke to the group first in German , then to me in English
Apart from the 5 beers , we were told about the history of the brewery’s we went to , how to order , and when are finished to place beer mat on top of glass!!
It was just a pity , it was cold and raining during the tour

You pass along all the small bars in Düsseldorf and get a view you won't get if you just went to the touristic scene. The tour was made by the fantastic guide we had, with great story's and good beer.
