Overview

What started as a simple collection of seashells for a child’s nursery has turned into a unique museum just outside of Dubrovnik. Glossus Humanus, the Shell Museum in Cavtat, hosts a private collection of shells picked up over the years. Gastropods, bivalves and more fill this small exhibition space, which also includes nearly 100 paintings, sculptures and relics.
