Pavo couldn't have been a more fun nor knowledgeable guide - he was so entertaining and brought Dubrovnik to life for us. A highlight was definitely drinks in Clara's beautiful historical home which made the tour so much more personal and authentic. Thank you Bruno and Clara!

This is a terrific private tour to take upon arriving in Dubrovnik - it not only provides a thorough overview of the sites in Old Town and history of the area, but also has the unique benefit of drinks and treats at a palace (large 4 story building) in the Old Town. Our great guide, Pavo, couldn't have been friendlier, more knowledgeable or passionate about his city and country. He really cares about his guests, and is like being with a friend for a few hours. I will definitely be recommending this tour with Pavo to friends and family who are traveling to Dubrovnik!

We thoroughly enjoyed this private tour of Dubrovnik's old town. Our guide, Pavo, lives locally with his family, therefore his knowledge of the history and culture of the city and region is amazing. We enjoyed his friendly manner and warm sense of humour. He gauged our interests quickly and was able to tailor this tour especially for us and our walking capabilities. We would not have had the same appreciation for this beautiful city without his insights. We especially enjoyed partaking in locally made traditional liquers and delicacies in a home within one of the most exception historical buildings in the city. I would highly recommend this tour to anybody wishing to learn more about this beautiful place. It was over way too soon. Thank you Pavo.

Our guide, Tea, is a delightful person. She was genuinely happy to be showing us her hometown. Her father grew up in the walled city. She shared some family stories and local stories that brought the history alive. You must ask her about the dog story. Tea is a teacher and has a knack for imparting her knowledge in a fun and memorable way. We visited a historic home that was only open to us because of the connection Tea has with the community. It was here that we shared coffee and Easter bread over a 16th century table. It was a lovely experience. I highly recommend Tea and this private tour.

We enjoyed this tour immensely. Our guide took us on an enjoyable walking tour and provided great background on the city. He took us to a private house where we enjoyed orange rind and figs, plus homemade liqueurs. The story of how the inhabitants acquired the palace is very interesting. Dubrovnik is lovely.

Pavo was an amazing guide! He shared the history and stories behind the places we visited on the Dubrovnik Old City tour. He added tons of local insight. The final stop at a local’s home in a former palace was a highlight. Definitely recommend this tour!

Tea was such a great guide! It was wonderful learning about the history of this beautiful place from a local! Very relaxed and informative….two hours was just the perfect amount of time. We got dropped off at lunch after and then my husband walked around the city walls-with more of a sense of what Dubrovnik would have been like throughout its history.

We were incredibly fortunate to find Pavo, our Croatia born and bred guide. Super fun and charismatic but also very knowledgeable. He knew the city of Dubrovnik blindfolded! We absolutely loved this tour! This should be top of your list when you hit Dubrovnik. We traveled as a family of 6 with kids 12-21 and everyone loved it. Very interesting, paced well, great mix of history, local recommendations and current life in Dubrovnik. The palace visit was a hit as well (still thinking about the coffee!)! This was our first stop when we hit the city and I am so thankful!

We appreciated learning about the ancient and recent history of Dubrovnik from a local guide. We highly recommend this private tour of old town. Sarah was our guide, and she was fantastic-the best tour we had in Croatia for sure. She’s a local and was extremely knowledgeable and personable. The ability to visit the private Pollis was very special also. Just do it. It’s a great orientation to this beautiful city.

We had a great tour of Dubrovnik with Pavo! He was very knowledgeable about the city - both its history and its culture - and was very personable. We needed to make some last minute changes to the timing of our tour, and he was flexible and accommodated our changes while still getting all the 'important' part of the tour included! The visit to a former palace that was currently owned/occupied was a very interesting addition that probably can't be seen anywhere else - complete with a local sample of Rakija!! We had a great time and would highly recommend this tour!

Our morning tour was everything we could have hoped for! Mara clearly had extensive knowledge of Dubrovnik's history and was very generous in answering all of our questions. We learned so much about the many iterations of this beautiful city and the people who lived there throughout the centuries. Extra kudos to Mara for being so accommodating on a chilly day in the off season!

We had such an excellent tour with Pavo. He managed the right amount of history and information with funny stories, etc. One of the highlights of the tour was seeing an old palace where aristocracy used to live. To be clear, you really just see the one room. The ceiling in the salon where we had snacks and delicious liquers had recently been restored and was absolutely beautiful.
Pavo was accommodating and lots of fun. We highly recommend him and his your company! Excellent experience.
