    If short on time in Qatar, this tour will give you all what you need and more. Our tour guide was pleasant and very good with taking photos and capturing the sights. Be sure to hydrate and bring snacks.

    Great guide; not much to Qatar outside Doha

    The itinerary was great and the guide did an amazing job. There really isn’t much to see in Qatar outside of Doha though, so don’t set your expectations too high. These attractions really aren’t anything special.

    Mixed experience. Absolutely worth because it gives you another impression that the skyline of Doha. However, I believe the guide was doubly booked and early afternoon he started to rush us (he was speeding most of the time) and wanted us to have lunch in the car. He lost focus and forgot the visit to the camel race. We reminded him and he called his boss who told him to honor the program. Lesson learnt: with Viator always bring the schedule and discuss with the guide before starting so that no pints are skipped unnecessarily. I truly enjoyed but the agency may need to make it realistic so that neither the driver not the visitors get a bad experience.

    Fantastic tour to the west and north of Katar and the capital Doha

    We had an unforgetable tour with our great guide and driver Asim. We booked a Full Day Qatar's North and West Private Tour to be picked up at 8:00 a.m. in front of our amazing Najd Boutique hotel amidst Souk Waqif in the center of Doha. At 8:00 a.m. Asim waited for us in his very comfortable and well air-conditioned car and we could start our tour on time. Asim was a knowledgeable and competent guide who explained everything what was important to know about the sightseeing objects in a relatively compact form but he gave us also the time to relax when we wanted that. Asim spoke a very good English, was very helpful and was listening and responding on our wishes. We can Asim highly recommend to other customers, he is a wonderful person. We went into the direction of the west coast and our first stop was the camel race track, very interesting. Then we moved -in parts off-road - into the direction of Zekreet peninsula to the remarkable umbrella shaped rock and other exotic limestone formations, a favorite place for photography. We reached the remains of Zekreet Fort, a historical landmark there and the East/West-West/East art work by Richard Serra, four steel plates, each over fourteen meters in height. Situated on the north-western part of Qatar, we reached the Al-Zubarah Fort, the first UNESCO World Heritage site of Qatar and visited several other excavations nearby. Driving to the eastern coast line we asked Asim if it would be possible to see the Lusail football stadium in Katar's future city Lusail and the Katara Cultural Village at the edge of Doha. And it was really great that Asim modified the scheduled tour plan in an appropriate manner: We directly passed the nice city Al Khor and indeed he gave us the time to see (from outside) the football stadium surrounded by spctacular buildings and to do a 1-hour walk through the Cultural Village with the Opera House, the Amphitheater, the mosque and other interesting objects with finally, the beach area and a nice view on the skyline of Doha. He also changed the drop-off place from the hotel into the Villaggio mall, so that it was easy for us in the remaining time from 3:00 p.m. to have an own shopping experience, seeing another football stadium there and going back to the hotel via Metro (a technical innovation going driver-less) to visit still during day-light the phantastic National museum and the Museum for Islamic Art. Thank you Asim for this combined adventure tour.
