We were picked up at our hotel by our guide Zubair who was very punctual and driven through Doha to our night desert safari. On the way we learnt a lot about Doha from Zubair who was extremely knowledgable. A great exciting drive through the sand dunes and we would highly recommend this tour and Zubair as a guide.

Our driver ( Noor) was very great and helpful. But you have to start after 7.30 p.m. if you want stargating. So the pick up time will be changed from 6.00 pm to 7.30 p.m. But we did' t let it. And in the night you don' t see the inland see. Than when coulf we see the night safari? - we don't understand. So better the day safari- we think. But Noor has helped everything. We could see camp inside.

Highlight of Our Trip – Thoughtful, Skilled & Informative Desert Safari with Zubair

We’ve visited Doha several times, but this desert safari was a completely new experience—thanks to Zubair, our driver and guide for the day. From the start, Zubair impressed us with his deep knowledge of the city. As we drove out of town, he pointed out landmarks we’d seen before but never truly understood. For instance, he told us about the purple masts along the Corniche—lit up at night and inscribed with the Qatari national anthem. I had passed them many times, never knowing their significance. He also explained the meaning behind the architectural design of several World Cup stadiums. The seashell-shaped stadium (Al Janoub) and the one modeled after a traditional cap (Al Thumama) stood out for me—they reflected the cultural roots of Qatar in a way I hadn’t appreciated before. The dune bashing itself was an unforgettable thrill. Zubair handled the desert terrain with skill and calm confidence, giving us a sense of adventure without ever feeling unsafe. He made thoughtful stops for photos, bathroom breaks, and even a short tea break in the desert breeze. What I appreciated most was how he truly listened. He didn’t pressure us into any activities we weren’t keen on and adapted the trip to suit our pace and preferences. He also took amazing photos and videos of us, capturing the best moments with great angles and enthusiasm. Zubair is an outstanding guide—combining technical driving expertise, cultural insight, and genuine consideration for his guests. My partner and I laughed, learned, and left with memories that will last. Easily the highlight of our trip.

A disappointing tour

I was very disappointed with this tour ,I was expecting star gazing with a tour guide who would point at the stars with laser pencil and where there are seats and sofas to sit instead the driver took me to a place where I just had to sit on the sand .and when we went to the beach there where no seats either!!

Kash was our guide and he was wonderful. We did the buggies to enjoy sunset on the Dune then had an opportunity to celebrate Iftar for Ramadan with a group which was a great experience. Kash was very skilled at driving on the dunes and made us feel very taken care of. He even gave highlights tour of the city on our way out and dropped us off at the mall after our trip was complete. Thank you!!

This was great experience which would have been amazing, if it hadn't been cloudy. Zubair was great driver and he was communicating with me from the moment I arrived to the airport. The car was comfortable and the music was nice. It was a scary experience to slide down a sand dune, but I'm happy I did it.

Mehti was the best driver and gave us the best experience for night driving. if you want a “Paul walker” driver but with an add on of professionalism and safety then book him!!!! A great way to spend a layover

A thill ride and great way to spend a few hours on our layover. Our guide really made sure the experience was customized to meet our expectations. The camel ride is short but it was a treat to get a chance to meet these beautiful animals. The skies were cloudy so we couldn’t see much of the night sky but wading in the Persian Gulf was a great memory.

Methi our driver was fantastic. He has allot of knowledge about everything and over 10 years desert 4x4 driving. He made the tour very interesting and memorable. He kindly made an extra stop ( at our request) on our return journey to make city skyline photos (not included in the tour). Camel ride was short and a little dissapointed that it was a 3 minute walk and turn around and not even in sand, would have loved to climb/walk in desert for photo experience. Camels very well cared for.
