I don’t think anything could beat this tour! The best way to explore, feel, taste, sense and experience Qatar. The tour guide - Sayed Mujahid - was more than exceptional! I am very grateful to him! He was very knowledgeable and he knew how to make it fun, memorable, meaningful and thrilling (wait until you see the dune bushing ride from a high sand dune towards the sea! It is highly recommended! Also, the camel galloping, the falcon posing and the oryx encounter was an extraordinary way to embrace Qatar for its beauty and authenticity! Thank you, Sayed!

The night experience is stunning! Our guide, Sayed, arrived right at the scheduled time to pick us up and drove south until the camel ride, and then to the dune bashing, with stops for stargazing and the Inland Sea. The night tour is very comfortable since it avoids the desert sun, and bashing up and down the dunes without seing much ahead feels very exciting. We loved the tour!

Night Desert Safari is boring and completely waste of time and money. There is nothing to see in the night, just driving in the desert and to make the tripe worse guide driver was on his phone during the tour

The camel riding and dune surfing were great, but they are probably best done on Monday through to Thursday as at the weekends the desert gets busy with loads of campers and other dune surfers.
We were a bit disappointed with the bbq as it really just a visit to a kebab shop somewhere.

Overall my experience was good. It was just a bit underwhelming but I only think that was because I did it so late and it was very windy and cold.
The camel ride is fun but short. The best part is the dune bashing for sure, this is a lot of fun and doing it at night is also actually quite fun.
My guide Bilal was very friendly and talkative, he answered any questions I had and kept us safe during the dune bashing.
It was also very cool seeing the gas factories on the way back to Doha.

Amazing experience for me and the Mrs on this night dessert safari led by our tour guide Mujahid.
Mujahid was very punctual and navigated the dunes skilfully at night time. He was also happy to take pictures and allowed us to explore as much as we wanted at each stop

Waqas was wonderful’ He picked us up on time and was a great tour guide on our way out of the city. The camel ride was perfect and the handlers knew exactly how to position them to take the perfect photos for you. Waqas did a great job dune bashing. We never felt rushed. He took excellent photos capturing the moon and stars. This is a family business as well.

It was an amazing experience. We were hoping to see more stars and even the Milky Way, but the full moon was out and provided so much light. And even though we were an hour away from the city, there was still some light pollution. In spite of all that, it was an amazing experience and highly recommend it. Bilal was our driver and he was full of information and very friendly and he took some awesome pictures of us.

Super fun excursion if you have a long layover in Qatar! The dune bashing and boarding were both super fun. I had the good fortune of a full moon which was a beautiful sight.
The desert gets really humid and windy in August, so just be prepared for that.
Between the camel and the bare footed sledding, you and your clothes will get gross and sandy (it’s a fine sand but it still leaves a residue), so prepare a change of clothes before getting back on the plane to your next destination. Otherwise budget time to hit the shower at the airport lounge before your next flight.
I felt super safe the entire time as a solo female traveler and would definitely recommend the tour to anyone with a long layover.

Great way to fill in a long airport layover. We were picked up outside the terminal and returned on time. Dune bashing at night was great fun and we (2 women in our 60's) always felt safe in the hands of our very skilled driver, Amir. Very different to be in the desert at night and the scenery was lovely. Camel ride was a bit of fun too! Highly recommended!

I booked the private option of this tour. My guide, Mujahid, was great. He confirmed pick up details the night before and sent me pictures of the vehicle and license plate, as well as the outside of the meeting place the afternoon of the tour. T HD at made it easy to find him as the Souq was getting busy that time of the evening.
We headed south about 45 minutes and he provided info on things as we were passing.
After a brief stop the deflate the ties, enjoy some tea and check out camels, we were off up the dunes and down the other side. At night you can barely see far ahead so it's even more exciting. He got my heart racing when he suddenly veered down the side of a dune. We stopped on top of a dune overlooking the Gulf and a second time right at water's edge. I was amazed how he was able to find his way to exactly where we needed to be in the dark. No other vehicles around. Would definitely recommend and I would try it again during the day to get a different perspective

Good to do , although a lot of it is travelling to area and back . 5 min camel ride followed by an hour or so on dunes , guide was great and he was the one that took us over the dunes .
