Itinerary

After hotel pickup in Doha, travel by private, air-conditioned vehicle to the Pearl-Qatar. This artificial island is a stylish Mediterranean-themed residential and entertainment neighborhood, complete with upscale medina-style shops and malls.

As you travel, hear snippets about Qatar’s culture and get insider tips on shopping from your driver-guide. Then, on arrival at the Pearl-Qatar, enjoy ample time to roam the high-end boutiques, cosmetics, jewelry, and accessory stores.

When you're done, meet back up with your driver-guide, and continue to the nearby Lagoona Mall. Head inside and stroll and shop around this elegant mall independently. Peruse the latest styles at designer haunts like DKNY and Karen Millen, and purchase everything from hip sportswear to footwear, scents, and more.

If you wish, break for lunch (own expense) at the Lagoona's Mediterranean-inspired dining plaza, and then head over to the Villaggio Mall, Doha’s biggest mall. This chi-chi, Venetian-style complex features shopping and dining destinations set around an indoor canal.

Longer stopover with must see half day city tour

Raman and his driver gave us a high-yield, immersive tour during our stopover in Doha. Many staff at the National Museum, the Blue mosque, the Souq Waqif knew Raman and greeted us warmly. Truly worth the time, effort, and cost to do this tour!
