Weather was perfect for our excursion & the large open air bus was a great way to explore the beautiful island and our guide did a great job of explaining all the history and cultural aspects of the landmarks. Stephan, our driver, did an incredible job of providing a smooth and comfortable ride (our guide warned us that the journey might be bumpy). Our stops were beautiful and breathtaking. We loved our trip, it was wonderful.

The tour leader Shani was very outgoing and personable. I liked that she gave information about Curaçao’s history as we went through different areas of Curaçao. Shani made sure everyone was safe and accounted for. I wasn’t overly keen on the loud noises the bus made. The stop at Shete Boka was good although I would have liked to have seen more. The stop at Playa Piskado (Fisherman’s Beach) was too short to get your gear on and snorkel around. It would have been more enjoyable to just watch the turtles from the dock. Too many people screaming and almost stepping on the turtles and kicking up sand that you could barely see the turtles while snorkeling. The beach stop at Grote Knip was nice. Beautiful beach. Got in some snorkeling. The stop to look at flamingos was good too. Lucked out and saw some. The interesting part was the talk about the plantations and the church. What could be improved upon is the availability of water and pop. One half sized water bottle was not enough for a hot day. On the way back to town someone asked for a drink and then we got a can of pop. I thought the tour was advertised with “plenty of water and pop”.

We would like to clarify a few points mentioned in your review. Our tour is advertised as including drinks, but it is not advertised as having “plenty of water and soda.” We do provide drinks during the tour, especially considering the length of the trip and the multiple stops along the way.
Regarding Shete Boka, it is indeed a very large national park with several different coves spread far apart. To explore the entire park properly would require almost a full day. For this reason, our tour includes a visit to one part of the park so guests can experience its beauty while still being able to visit the other highlights of the island.
At Playa Piskadó (Fisherman’s Beach), we allow time for guests to choose how they want to enjoy the stop, whether that is snorkeling, swimming, or watching the turtles from the dock. Many guests prefer different activities, and we try to give everyone the flexibility to enjoy the location in their own way.
We also encourage reviews to reflect each guest’s personal experience during the tour. Many other guests on the same trip had a wonderful time, but we still appreciate hearing different perspectives as it helps us continue improving.

Fantastic tour, very knowledgeable staff and they were amazing with our kids. Everyone had a blast. The tour gives you much easier access to some popular tourist destinations and not having to fight some crowds or park a car was really nice. Make sure to bring cash as some things were cash only and you need cash to get in the bathrooms as well.

We were picked up at the cruise terminal and toured the west side of the island in an open air bus. Shani and Muni were excellent tour guides! The highlight was swimming with the turtles. Would highly recommend this tour.

Larry our tour guide was amazing! He was informative and entertaining! He also kept our kids engaged (he has two young kids if his own) and didn’t mind when they were fussy and tired from traveling. We’ve done a dozen tours the past year and Larry has been one of our favorite guides! My only complaint is I didn’t have specific plans for pickup, I wish the contact would have sent me detailed pickup instructions (or at least a time and where to meet rather than the pier) like other tour companies. But highly recommend this tour! Ask for Larry and enjoy the beauty of curaçao!

Jaentree was an amazing guide and was very knowledgeable. She was always on time and throughout the tours never made us feel rushed. Curaçao is such a beautiful place and she made sure we got to see every attraction. This tour is definitely one for the books and I couldn’t recommend her enough.

Had a great time. Kids loved "Little" Larry and still talk about his freestyling tour. He was a blast and kept everyone entertained. The snorkeling and blow hole (national park) were awesome.. though the flamingos were a bit underwhelming as they kept themselves far away from the road. Overall, very happy with this tour and would recommend to anyone considering it.

It’s hard to pick a favorite stop! The national Park was gorgeous. Shows another part of the island. Not just beaches. Swimming with the turtles was an awesome experience. The clear water and silky sand were unbelievable at Kenepa beach. Snorkeled there too!
Our guide was wonderful. Fun and knowledgeable. Loved her !

Our tour was with Patricia and it was fantastic! She took us on our adventure and stopped for a quick breakfast snack at a local place. We got these little breakfast pockets, get the cheese, it’s wonderful!
We went to Shete Boka National Park to Pistol Beach to view the gorgeous limestone sea cliffs. I could have stayed all day watching the waves come in and splash up onto the cliffs. There were the endemic island lizards there called Blauw-Blauw.
We then went to see the sea cave but it was closed because of sea grass in the cave. Still beautiful area and got educated on the deadly Manchineel Trees!
We then went to see the flamingos, they were beautiful in the wild.
Onto Grote Knip/Playa Kenepa Grandi, one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen! You could even jump off the cliffs there.
We swam with sea turtles at Playa Grandi. They have snack vendors there and a few at Grote Knip as well.
Patricia was very well educated on the island, nature, culture and history as she drives and tells you all about it. At the end of the day she dropped us in downtown Willemstad to see the floating bridge and walk around to take photos of the beautiful architecture and murals on the buildings. She also brought a cooler with waters!

The beach we went to. The blow hole was pretty fun to see. Little Larry was very knowledgeable. Needs to do a better job of directing people from the cruise ship where to meet him. Eventually we found someone who knew Little Larry and got to the correct location.

Little Larry was such a fun guide. Went and saw the shete boka park with the blow hole type feature, then to the beautiful beach, then snorkeled with turtles, and finally to a couple nice view points on the island.

We absolutely loved this tour. There was a little mishap with others in our group that delayed the start of our tour, but our guide was able to overcome that quickly and make this our favorite excursion of our entire trip. We absolutely loved the turtle swim and also cliff jumping at Kenepa beach. The beach was incredible, we really wish we had more time there, but it gave us a reason to come back again! This was the prefect tour to see the highlights or Curacao!

Tour Guide was very friendly and helpful with facts about the island - rating of 10. The natural beach was beautiful and enjoyed swimming there -- rating of 10. The main reason we wanted this tour was for the turtle swim. Was fun to swim & snorkel with turtles and colorful in the ocean. However, to get turtles to stay near dock or near snorkel area, they tossed "chum" in the water to get turtles to gather there. It was a disgusting smell and our swimsuits stuck like dead fish. One little girl (about 10 yrs old) swam too close to where they were throwing in the chum (she drifted in from the ocean waves and was swimming away) and the man on dock threw a wad of chum on her back. If I had been her mother, I would have thrown a fit with the man. Snorkeling with turtles should be a "natural" experience. Rating for turtle swim 3.5.

Hi Dianne, thank you for your feedback. Swimming with the turtles is actually a natural experience, the problem we have is that most of the tourists have drowned in this water trying to get close to the turtles in the darkest part. That’s the reason they try to mantain the turtles at the dock, which make it easier for our tourist.
We do have many complaints about the fisherman, who throws food at the turtles. Unfortunately, we can't do anything about it because it's out of our hands, but we will forward your review to the Curaçao Tourism Board, hopefully 🙏🏽 they can handle the situation ASAP!

We were in an area for Internet pick ups early. While I waited my travel partner went look to make sure we were in the right place. We were unable get anyone to answer when we called. The communication is poor. I would not book with them again. We had to find other plans for the day which was disappointing.

Despite of being late, we ask the customers that was sharing the same tour, politly, to wait an extra 15 minutes, so that you and your travel partner could have the opportunity to still join the Nature Lovers Tour. When you called our phone it was already half an hour from the agreed time, unfortunately the tour already left.
It is our greatness desire to provide everyone with a best service and that means respecting the time of each customers, that was the reason why the guide could not continue waiting.

We were picked up at the pier by our guide Jaentree and joined 4 others in a small group. Jaentree changed the listed itinerary so we would have a better chance to see the beautiful flamingos. The stops in Shete Boca Park included Boca Pistola a tremendous experience. We visited the fisherman's beach at Playa Piskado where you could snorkle with the turtles and grab a bite to eat. At Grote Knip we basked in the powdery sand for close to an hour, the pictures do not do it justice, it was so beautiful. For us the unexpected highlight of the trip was Jaentree's entralling talks while we drove from stop to stop. These talks explained the cultural history, colonial life, and the musical heritage of the people of Curacao, as well as the current way of life. Drinks were provided. It was a wonderful way to spend 5 hours in this beautiful part of the world.

I want to start off by saying that I think our driver was new and there were 2 vans of people and I feel like we were following the experienced driver. We were in the van with the new driver. The van looked like it was going to break down, there was UV film peeling from the windows and there was goo and fingerprints on the windows. We had to ask at every stop where we were and what we needed to bring. Nothing was mentioned about the turtles nesting as in the tour description and we saw no flamingos or mention of them. Since I was on a cruise I had many excursions booked and forgot this one had an optional cliff jump. When we got to the site where you could cliff jump neither driver said anything. Only back when we were in the van did our driver ask if we cliff jumped. After I asked him, nicely, was is not safe to jump because no one mentioned we could do this. He said no it was safe. So when I asked why no one mentioned it he just laughed and said we'll have to come back. The woman was a much better guide and took pictures if we wanted and answered our questions. I thought she was great minus the fact that she didn't mention we could cliff dive and where we could do it. I also found it odd that neither of them were wearing a company shirt at least so there was no way to really know what company they were with. It did appear that the woman had some sort of lanyard badge. Our new male driver's jeans were falling down and you could see his underwear. The van did not appear to have a company logo either. I couldn't believe that this tour had 5 stars after my experience.

We are very disappointed to read your review, you took a tour with us on March 29, and you were in a bus with Omar (6 people, which only you complain about your driver) Jaentree and Omar and all the other guides have been guiding with us for 8 years, this is the reason we have a 5 star on TripAdvisor and Viator!! We have full confidence in our guides. At no time we did wrote in our tour about turtles nest!! About jumping, did write in the escurcion if you are crazy enough to jump!! Both beach is specific writing what would happened at the beach! Either way, kenepa is for those who knows how to jump, so our drivers can’t promote jumping!! Jumping at Kenepa beach is consider at your own risk!! Their is also other beaches that you can jump! Because you wrote about turtles nest we are confuse if you have read 2 different tours and you got confused, which one you were going to choose? However, we have had direct contact with both of them to hear their version. Both explain that indeed their was no flamingo to see, as we always say!! Flamingos are wild animals we DO NOT HAVE CONTROL OF THEM!! Still they choose to give YOU the extra service, which is NOT included by driving next to the old refinery which isn’t a such nice view so you can still get a chance to see flamingo!! What we can also understand if the tour wasn’t so good, why still giving the driver 20$ tip and also saying that you like it? It would also be nice if you came directly to our company complaining, so we could see together if you were on the right tour!! For what you were expecting either way, we wish you a nice day and hope you may find the tour you like or were looking for!!

Dear Walter. Thank you for your review. We are a little disappointed for giving us 3 stars. The 3 stars is based on a beach and because the vehicle has no brand, and not because of the service we give. Unfortunately, we don't make the sea, there is also different ways to get into the sea. When we have small group, you will received a small minibus! This minibuses are taxi drivers/ tour guide who’s been working 8 years with us. They always have the company logo when picking up at the port and it is always in their car when picking up at the hotels, which you can always asked for, if you aren’t sure! But thanks to his point of view, we will see what we can do for the future! Hoping that despite your lack of point in what we have no control over, you have had a fantastic day with your guide.

We had a wonderful time on this tour, I would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Curacao. She took us to some if the most beautiful spots on the island, we saw a cave, turtle beach and the most beautiful beach on the island. The opportunity to swim amongst the turtles was absolutely amazing and a once in a lifetime opportunity, we have discussed the possibility of coming back just to do it again. Dushi (guide) was amazing!!! She was very knowledgeable and told us all about the island’s history, animals, vegetation, etc. while we drove around the island. We did have a car issue on the way back to port and I was a little nervous, but she immediately found us a ride back to port as soon as we stopped the car. We had a wonderful time, by far our best tour of all the stops on our cruise.

All of the stops on this tour had something special. I especially liked the blowhole.
We made two stops in the National park, then to the fishermens beach to swim with the turtles, to Grote Knip which is the most beautiful beach, and then to see the flamingos. Jaentree was the best tour guide I have ever met.

This was a great trip. There were only 7 of us in a mini bus with Jaentree, who was a lovely tour guide. She was very informative and patient, bearing in mind I got a migraine and she had to stop the bus for me to get out and walk around for a while at one point! We visited several places that we probably would not have seen on another tour, including a cave and the blowhole, where you get to witness the true strength of the sea. Beware, this is quite tricky if you have dodgy knees, like I do! We then went on to swim with turtles, which was amazing! And we finished on a lovely small, pretty beach, where we had a leisurely swim and snorkle; there were loads of fish to see and some unexpected visiting pigs! All in all, a great tour and well worth the money! Highly recommended!
