Really good tour. Visited loads of places with a good English speaking guide. It was well organised. Beautiful sites visited. Owners pachis travel were very helpful and went the extra mile.

Great experience indeed. The guide tour Maria was very brilliant with her commentary. And the diver very calm and careful in driving us to 300 metres above the sea-level and through those tiny roads through the villages in the mountains. The paranomic view of the city was serene indeed. Hopefully next tome we have time to take pictures from the very top of the mountain for only those with brave hearts. We really enjoyed ourselves and a wonderful gift from my wife on my birthday. Thank you so much guys.

Bus trip was good…places we visited were lovely spots, just a shame we couldn’t understand the English of our guide. The quality of the food of restaurant they took us to for lunch let the tour down.

Very late picking us up

Forgive me if I'm being a little picky, but the coach picked us up very late from a location about 10 minutes walk from our hotel - the other trip we did managed to pick us up from the hotel. We almost gave up waiting, especially as we couldn't get through to anyone at the office. Thankfully, we'd already called a couple of days earlier to confirm and were told our pick up was between 10.30-10.40am, not 8am as on the ticket, otherwise we'd definitely have given up long before 11am when the coach finally arrived. The delay was probably due to four very ignorant passengers firstly making us all wait 15 minutes at the Achilleon Palace, then after waiting another 20 minutes at Paleokastritsa we set off without them. Somehow they were on the coach after our next stop at Bella Vista as the coach driver had undoubtedly gone back to try to find them. I was very ashamed to be the same nationality (British), especially as everyone else managed to get back on time even though for many, their first language wasn't English. Unfortunately, waiting at the gates of the Mon Repos palace set off my hayfever, which got gradually worse all day, so it was a relief to get back to the hotel to be honest. That said, it was an incredibly hot day (nearly 40C) and our guide did his best under the circumstances, although he got off while we were in the north of the island, making the last part basically dropping people off as the driver didn't speak much English. To finish with a good point, he was an excellent driver, navigating small roads and hairpin bends very well.

Odd Man Out

I appeared to be lumped into a tour group that was mostly from the hotels in the northern part of the island. I was the last pickup at around 11:00, so I never got the tour of the Old Town since they did that section on their way to pick me up. The guide was good, the bus driver very capable, the bus a little dated. The sites are worth seeing, but since the last part of my tour was dropping guests off in the northern hotels, I spent the last part of my tour passing by some rather uninteresting places.

Todo bien, sí que es verdad que dejan poco tiempo para comer. El recorrido se hace ameno, pero no dejan demasiado tiempo entre paradas para comprar ni ver Y sobre todo, no creáis que podréis bañaros, no es así

Excursion incontournable et paysages magnifiques.

En fait, il s'agit plutôt d'un grand tour du nord de l'île, pas de toute l'île, ce qui serait impossible en un jour. Ceci dit, elle est incontournable pour avoir une vraie image de Corfou. Si vous venez sans voir ces sites-là, autant rester chez vous. Notre guide, Maria, parlait un français impeccable et allait à l'essentiel pour capter l'attention. Beaucoup de temps libre sur les sites, ce qui est appréciable et plus agréable que de longues visites guidées qui finissent par lasser. À noter que nous avions réservé cette excursion pour le samedi conformément à ce que propose Viator mais que, le vendredi, l'opérateur local nous a annoncé que l'excursion se ferait le dimanche, ce qui ne nous convenait pas vu que nous repartions dimanche matin. Nous aurions aimé en être informés plus tôt (nous avions réservé un mois à l'avance) pour trouver un autre organisateur et nous avons fait part à l'opérateur de notre grande déception de voir cette belle et essentielle excursion nous passer sous le nez. Finalement, et nous tenons à remercier vivement Pachis Travel pour cela, l'opérateur a pu nous caser sur un autre tour similaire organisé le samedi par un autre opérateur et en français. Il y a eu une erreur quelque part au départ, mais ils ont parfaitement rattrapé le coup.
