Biking in coppenhagen

I was a little disappointed with the bike tour. Our guide was boring & not personable. It was too much history with dates which I’ll never remember or care. He never would stop so I could take photos. Then when we did stop, he would go in the shade for himself but not for us. He took us through this long metal containers on the bikes because of street construction, and it completely smelled of urine and almost made me sick. I think being s guide on a bike, you could have went down another street to avoid it. I do like bike tours in cities that I don’t know because it covers alot of ground & it’s way to see the whole city.

We had a lovely time with our guide Monica! She took us around a few neighborhoods, highlighting history as well as how the city operates currently. We saw a ton and got ideas for places to return to over the next few days. We had a mix of biking experience and she made us all feel very at ease. By the end, we all felt like pros navigating the bike lanes and having so much fun. The best way to see Copenhagen by far! Highly recommend, especially at the start of your trip.

Hisham (“Sam”) curated a wonderful tour of the fringe of central city — neighborhoods not typically visited by tourists: Meatpacking District, South Harbor, the East Side of the inner North Sea Harbor, commune Christiana, world renowned Noma restaurant and ending in Norrebro where he found a delightful French cafe for us which we returned to for dinner that night. We got a a very realistic experience of life in this bicycle-centered city. Although originally from Egypt, Sam is married to a Dane and has lived in Copenhagen for over 15 years. We enjoyed the combination of his deep knowledge of Danish life with an interesting outsider’s perspective.

Großartige Tour. Die Fahrräder sind zwar alte ausgelutschte Gurken aber fahren gut. Jeff ist echter Kopenhagener und kennt sich gut aus. Teuer aber das Geld wert.
