However, if your pickup location is more than 5 kilometers away from the city limits, there will be an additional charge. For pickups or drop-offs at the Colombo International Airport or transit hotels nearby (with an additional running mileage of 60+ kilometers round trip), there will be a $30 USD extra fee payable to the driver in cash.

Our guide, Lakmal was great! He communicated with us prior to pickup to confirm time and location and was very flexible regarding our interests and what to show us. Following our visit to the National Museum he gave us some sweets unique to Sri Lanka that were very tasty! Lakmal was knowledgeable about Colombo and was a great guide!

The car was small but big enough for the 3 of us plus the guide. He was knowledgable and accomodating. We went off the usual tour path and he took us to a beautuful lakeside place for lunch. All in all it is well worth the cost amd time to do it.

Tour guide/driver was very knowledgeable about Colombo and Sri Lanka. He took us to all the major sights in the city and when we were feeling a little tired, took us to a very pleasant cafe in a delightful park in the outskirts of town

Fabulous trip. Lakmal our guide was superb. Colombo was beautiful and saw all the ‘must sees’. From the evening before pickup when arrangements were confirmed for the following morning everything was incredibly smooth. He took time to explain about every location we wanted to see and wherever possible made transport super easy by walking back to collect car and coming to pick us up. We had a data package on our phone and that definitely helps with arrangements on the day. Would advise it’s needed to help the day progress without issue. We used an eSIM that cost £3 for the day so it’s very doable. We were able to communicate whilst off the boat and confirm progress disembarking and even send pictures of what we looked like to make connecting easier at the madness of the port
Great value way to see Colombo and so much cheaper than an equivalent trip via the Cruise ship. We went at our pace and spent as little or as long at each location as worked for us. If in Colombo visiting by cruise and have limited time, these are the guys to use. Definitely recommend

Our Guide was Lakmal. Very personable and we were able to decide where we wanted to to go in Colombo. He picked us up on time in Negombo and spent 6 hours touring. A good and guide. His car I a bit small, but two average sized American were able to sit comfortably. Larger people may have trouble in the mini car.

The first driver was not acceptable- didn’t communicate what we were seeing and English was poor. We contacted the company and they sent another driver who was excellent. Gave us a very interesting tour with lots of explanations. Turned out to be a great day.

What a great tour of Columbo we had with our young guide-sorry forgotten his name!! He knew so much about everything and allowed us to vary the route. We had already seen so many temples he took us to some lovely parks and different sites as well as to an excellent restaurant. His English was excellent. Would highly recommend

We were picked up on time. Highly recommend doing this trip on Saturday or Sunday as there’s no traffic to conquer. We had a lovely time visiting temples, parks and places of interest. Our host was very attentive, didn’t rush us at all and allow us to fully enjoy our first day in Colombo.
