Andrei was an exceptionally well informed and considerate guide on our trip to Maramureş. During the two days he generously shared his historical and geographical knowledge of the region and places of interest in flawless English. He was also a safe and careful driver throughout the many miles we covered.

I booked this tour as a small group tour, but I was the only participant. There were a few situations that disappointed me about this tour. I communicated in advance that I do not eat pork and I would have expected to be offered other meal options, but this was not the case.
On the first day I was taken to a restaurant that only offered pork, but they had something else I could eat. However, I would have expected them to take me to a place that also offered other meat options, considering that I had informed them in advance of my dietary needs and that I was the only guest on this tour.
The second day was even worse. We had lunch on the Mocanita train tour and were offered only a fixed pork menu. Nothing was arranged for me and I was not offered lunch anywhere else after the train tour. This was very disappointing, especially considering how expensive this tour is.
Other than that, the tour was as described.
