Herik was excellent! He was very knowledgeable and had answers to every question we had.
The communication from the tour company was great. They gave us a helpful heads up about the 1 hour time difference between Cancun and Chichen Itza. We ended up being the only 4 people on the tour and they accommodated an earlier start time.
A tip for people traveling from Quintana Roo to Yucatan State. BRING YOUR PASSPORTS! We were stopped on the toll road on the way home and were "fined" for not having them. We had pictures of them, but not the entry stamps. Not sure where the money went, but there was no paperwork associated with the fine...

Absolute great experience! Prior to our tour, there was clear communication on where to meet and what to expect. On the day of the tour, entrance to the complex was very quick. Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate, which absolutely enhanced our experience. Definitely would recommend!

Absolutely phenomenal experience. This is with the official guides who are employed by the national park. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Jorge was our guide and gave a wonderful tour that was specific to what we wanted to see and know.

We loved it. Our guide Monica was fantastic. She is local and explained everything about this historical site so well. She even spent some extra time to ensure that we see everything.

Our guide, Jesus, was amazing! We arrived 1 hour early and he was able to accommodate starting our tour when we arrived! We arrived by rental car, and he also provided us good instructions on arrival to avoid confusion with other tour operators and people trying to sell parking outside the official site. He was incredibly knowledgeable, teaching us about the Mayan civilization, culture, and details about the calendar which tied directly to Chichen Itza. He took time to draw things out for us, and the illustrations made it so much easier to comprehend all the nuances. We even leaned to count using the Mayan hieroglyphs. I didn’t see any other guides doing this. Highly recommend this private tour with Jesus.

We had a great time, I mistakenly booked a day ahead but company graciously changed day for an immediate tour. Erik our guide was very knowledgeable and explained historical events, agriculture and astronomy. Building techniques and more. Highly recommend especially for a last minute booking.

Had a really good time with Jonathan. He’s very informative and explains the local history and culture with a lot of patience. We were a family of three including a 3yr old touring the ruins on a very hot day. Jonathan was very understanding and accommodating. Highly recommend doing this tour with Jonathan

Monica was so amazing and knowledgeable! We had a fantastic time on this tour and she was so patient with us having brought our two kiddos. Definitely 100% would recommend this tour of Chichen Itza! She even brought photos to illustrate things like what the main structure looks like on specific days where the shadows and light make a snake. This was the easiest tour to do with a stroller by far.

Chichen Itza was fascinating. Monica, the tour guide was wonderful. The tour was scheduled to be a couple of hours but it would easy to spend more time with all there was to see. At some time in the future, I will likely return and do a longer tour.

Excellent tour! We drove ourselves from Merida (easy drive with one toll each way that was easy to navigate, even for us foreigners visiting the area for the first time) which allowed us to arrive early before the crowds, and also meant that we had finished our tour before the hottest part of the day. Our guide (Mon Olalde) was exceptional - she is knowledgeable, patient, and kind, and made the trip even better than anticipated! Was also so great to have Mon pick up our tickets in advance so we could stroll right in and start the tour. Recommend going to Chichen Itza as early as possible - especially if driving yourself so that you can get parking right at the site (just keep driving until you reach the parking pay booth by the Chichen Itza sign, there's lots of signs and flaggers and other parking lots before you get there, just keep going and you'll eventually reach the actual parking lot). There are bathrooms and restauarants and lots of vendors at the site.

We had a great experience with Monica. We were with a small group and was very details with all her knowledge with the area of chichen Itzá. Also made sure that were always on the shade. We had a great time. We would do it again if we had the chance.

My girlfriend and I booked the last minute tour and had an amazing time. Our guide Paulo was incredibly knowledgeable about Chichen Itza and Mayan culture and was happy to answer all our questions. He took some amazing photos of us as well! Would definitely recommend!

Our guide was Paolo and he was great!! He was punctual and was very informative. He showed us all the important spots around chichen itza(clicked our pictures at good spots) and also gave use good tips around what to visit and what to buy. He also gave good food tips. They also helped us save our time by buying tickets for us in advance and we could skip long on the counter lines. Would recommend this tour for sure! Great way to learn Mayan history and culture.

Absolutely wonderful and would recommend to all my friends if they visit. Our tour guide was incredible knowledgeable - I actually studied Mayan archeology in college and she taught me things I had never learned in all my studies! Our guide was incredibly responsive via WhatsApp before our tour and helped us with some last minute logistics. Can't say enough good things about this experience! If you can, try to book an earlier tour, there are fewer people at the site and it's much easier to take good pictures without the large crowds.

Our guide Paolo was just amazing. We were lucky because we were alone with him. We had a perfect visit with him. His knowledge is excellent and so is his English. Monica was awesome. My kids (10 & 12) loved her, she answered all their questions, was a wealth of knowledge and super fun. She was very accommodating, holding the tour as we encountered traffic on the drive from Valladolid. We had a small tour of eight people (2 couples from Italy + us) and she did a wonderful job of explaining to everyone. Highly recommended!!

Chichén Itzá fica em um sítio arqueológico distante e despreparado para receber pessoas, não há lugar para sentar, comer, muitas pessoas e ambulantes à beira de templos. Muito desagradável. O guia atrasou o passeio esperando outras pessoas, e nos faz ficar horas parados embaixo do sol tomando aulas de história. É pouco prático, pois o que queremos é observar os monumentos e não tomar longas aulas de história. As filas são rápidas, não compensa o preço para “antecipar” os tickets de entrada. Por fim, não recomendamos!

Muy bien, nuestra guía nos contactó por WhatsApp la tarde antes de nuestro tour, nos encontramos con ella en el lugar indicado donde tenía preparadas nuestras entradas y entramos con ella. Se notaba que le gustaba lo que contaba y trasmitia ese interés al hacerlo, además de ser muy amable durante todo el recorrido. La ruta fué espectacular pudiendo entender la historia de este sitio que impresiona realmente.
Allí puedes coger la entrada por ti mismo y se te ofrecen muchos guias, pero la verdad que por el precio y la calidad ofrecida, merece la pena.

Definitivamente recomiendo este tour. Nuestra guía fue Monica y nuestro grupo era bilingue así que tuvo el doble trabajo porque explicaba en español e inglés con una claridad muy buena y se notaba que tenía mucho conocimiento sobre el tema.
Recomendación: lleven agua, gorro o sombrero, protector solar. Casi no hay sombra (salvo abajo de algunos árboles).

Fantástica experiencia para entrar en Chichén Itzá sin colas y con una buena guía (Mónica) que nos explicó toda la historia entorno al enclave, apoyando sus explicaciones con imágenes en una tablet.
Quizá un poco caro, por señalar un área para mejorar.
