It’s not just the skiing and climbing that makes Chamonix a world-class adventure destination: the area is famous for paragliding, too. Take to the air in perfect safety from 3,900 feet (2,100 meters) on a tandem flight with an instructor. Savor spectacular views of the Alps as your pilot manipulates the wing to ride the air currents from Plan Praz or Plan de l’Aiguille (cable-car ticket not included).

Meet at the designated meeting location in Chamonix a little before your takeoff time for this Alps tandem paragliding flight. Keep in mind that this experience takes off from an area that you need to purchase a ticket for the cable car to ride it up to the location.
Once you’re at the meeting spot, get a short introduction course from your instructor and put on a provided helmet so you’re ready to go. Your tandem flight takes off through the Alps, giving you stunning views of Europe’s popular mountain range.
After you make it back to land, you can choose to purchase an HD video of your flight (own expense) if you’d like it as a souvenir.

- Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 8 hours of travel. In this case confirmation will be received as soon as possible, subject to availability
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Near public transportation

- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Most travelers can participate
- MEETING POINT: in front of the cable car ticket office. We do not have an office or desk there. Just wait there and the pilots will come.
- Minimum age is 4 years
- Please do not carry a big bag during the flight. Only very small bags are allowed.
- Please provide your weight in kg. Max weight is 100 kg
- Best time to fly in summer: less than 40kg: ask for an early time: 8 am or 9 am
- Best time to fly in summer: 40 to 60kg: book a flight until 11 am max
- Best time to fly in summer: Above 60kg: you can fly all day
- Total activity takes about 1 hour
- If weather (wind or rain) does not allow a safe flight, you will be refunded
- Be at the meeting point 10 min before. Buy your ticket for cable car (one way , about 18 euros)
- No need to write or call us to inform that you arrived. Only do so if you are late.
- Pilots might be up to 10 min late. Don't worry, they will come and look for you.
- Keep you phone with you, as we might try to call you if we don't find you
- All our pilots speaks English and French. Some speak Spanish as well.
- Max. weight is 100kg
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers

The highlight of my trip! 10/10 recommend. Richard & Laurent were so friendly, reassuring, and knowledgeable. They have 30 years of experience so you’re in good hands. FYI- IKON pass holders have access and don’t need to buy a gondola ticket; don’t bring your own helmet, dress warm, wear stable shoes. Thank you Richard & Laurent!

In Chamonix they teach primary school children to paraglide. You see all types flying above the valley including old guys like me. So beautiful, majestic, and peaceful in the air. My guide Sandie was a competitive flyer and now does tandem flights so all can experience mt blanc, the glaciers, and Chamonix from above.

This was most amazing experience I had in my life, view on Mont Blanc glaciers and beeing so close to mountain ridge, absolutely blew my mind. I even had a chance to try controls and did acrobatics (with my full consent:)) Absolutely a must do activity!!!

If there’s a better place to paraglide than Chamonix Mont Blanc I want to know about it. My pilot Ludo dealt very well with a old guy, and the ride was very comfortable and exhilarating. Highly recommended.

Great experience, cool pilots and amazing feeling. You don’t need to prepare anything just buy tickets for the cable car and they can also take photos and videos for you for extra charges.

Weather was perfect and my guide was awesome! This is a must-do in Mont Blanc! My husband didn't want to paraglide so he took pics and a video of us launching from the mountain. You also have the option to purchase pics and video footage from the company.
