Itinerary

Receive an early-morning pickup from your accommodations in Cape Town, traveling along the scenic N2 coastal highway aboard a private luxury vehicle to Gansbaai. Depending on the size of your party you’ll either ride aboard a “C Class” Mercedes Benz or a Toyota Avanza. When you reach Gansbaai, listen in for a short trip briefing accompanied by a light breakfast.

You’ll then head out onto the water with your boat group, enjoying hours of shark cage time with resident sharks that are known to frequent this popular South African coastal area. Finish your underwater adventure and come up to the surface for a light lunch and a video showcasing your daring aquatic exploits. You’ll then be transferred back to Cape Town along the N44, arriving back in town in the afternoon.

Please note: Roundtrip transport to Gansbaai is by private vehicle, but your boat trip and cage diving trip may include up to 20 other people. Should you wish to inquire about a private boat for you and your partner or group, this can be arranged at an additional cost paid directly at the boat company. Please advise at the time of booking of your interest in a private boat outing so the operator can coordinate and advise you of the additional cost involved.

No Sharks in Gansbaai at the moment...

No Sharks in Gansbaai at the moment due to Orcas so was asked if I minded going to Mossell Bay which is further. Well worth the trip where we saw 7 great whites! The views on the drive were spectacular and Jacob the guide was brilliant.
