Itinerary

Receive a pickup from your ship timed to match its arrival in Cape Town port. You’ll then transfer by air-conditioned coach to the Cape Winelands area north of Cape Town proper.

Start your visit to the scenic region by exploring downtown Stellenbosch. Marvel at the 18th-century facades of this historic city’s Victorian, Cape Dutch, and Georgian buildings, and learn about its founding by the Dutch East India Company in 1679. Continue your exploration of Stellenbosch by wandering down Dorp Street, where you can admire the ancient oaks planted by Dutch settlers hundreds of years ago.

Once you’ve done enough exploring, head to the estate of a local winemaker, where you’ll enjoy a tasting introduction to the region’s award-winning wines. Depending on your schedule, you may also have time for a second tasting stop as well. Then receive a transfer back to Cape Town, where you’ll be dropped off back at your ship.
