We had a wonderful 3-hour hike with Isla right after we arrived in Canmore. It was supposed to rain, and Jacob was nice enough to call us and offer to rebook. We had a tight schedule the rest of our trip and decided to risk it. The weather turned out to be beautiful! We were given some choices of where to go which took into account how muddy the trails might be (much appreciated). We ended up doing an out and back to an old mining town, and it was a lovely trail with beautiful views. Isla was very knowledgeable and gave us information about the history, area wildlife, and plants/trees as we walked. She also had a great recommendation for a beer garden to check out after we finished. I would love to come back and try another hike in the future!

Great guide and pleasant hike but nothing special. Really surprised no wildlife at all, not even birds! Low level so no real views but guide was knowledgeable and made quite a dull walk much more interesting.

The guide picks the trail daily based on weather and wildlife reports. Wildlife sighting are outside of our control. But we do our best by continually monitoring weather and wildlife reports. Thank you for your feedback. .

Flower filled mountain trail

Explored a beautiful mountain trail with our knowledgeable guide Ben. We enjoyed walking through the flowered meadows while Ben taught us about the local wildlife. Entirely delightful

True Alberta wilderness

Jacob was an excellent guide who captured our interest with his expertise and stories. We thoroughly enjoyed the scenery, and definitely felt like we were on trails less travelled. Although we didn’t see any wildlife, Jacob pointed out many visible signs of bear or cougar activity.
