Knowledgeable, calm entertaining good local guide, Jacob. His presentation, choice of venue, pace and terrain, stories were all tailored for a mix of Canadians and tourists in group. We were lucky in sharing the trip with excellent people who shared amazing photos of milky way, northern lights etc.

I was given the wrong address for pickup , so we didn't make it to the tour until it was too late :(

It was the guests mistake when putting in the directions and they texted us telling us 5 mins late. But said they would be another 15+ mins late. We could not make the other guests wait that long. It would be rude not be fair to the people that arrived on time. We tried to postpone them to another date but nothing was acceptable to them. Guest Text: "I’m so sorry I put an eighth Street not eat Avenue I don’t you don’t wait but we are on our way. Hopefully we will see you there." Sydney J, you did not make the tour on time due to your own fault. We sent the right address and a curtesy email stating how important it is to be on time to meet the sunset. You did not make it on time because you put in the wrong address when getting directions.

We really enjoyed our evening “star” gazing despite it being cloudy. It was interesting walking with Jacob and listening to his wisdom of his native Banff. Sadly I wish we could have done more hikes with him, however, it certainly will be on our list when we return, because we really would like to return to this beautiful area. It was nice getting away from the crowds on this hike as even late in the season, there were plenty of crowds. Thanks Jacob, we’ll be back.

This was the last of 4 tours we booked with this company. We met our guide outside of Banff near Lake Minnewanka. We walked to and around the lake for nice views of the night sky with no light pollution. I imagine this would be a perfect spot when the northern lights are out. Jacob, our guide, was funny and very knowledgeable about the area. The road to the lake is in a wildlife preserve and Jacob gave us a night safari on the drive out spotting a very cute white fox and deer. Would not hesitate using this company again.
