The three-story Viejo Almacen, also known as the 'tango temple,' will host you for an evening of artistic and culinary delights.
Let yourself be swept up in the energetic mood at Viejo Almacen, where the performance features over 20 dancers, as well as musicians and poets. Enjoy the passionate, expressive dance demonstrated by seasoned professionals and marvel at their grace and athleticism. Listen to the traditional tango music, which features accordion, guitar and often singing.
If you choose to have dinner at the venue, dig in to your delicious Argentine meal before the show begins. Courses include authentic empanadas, vegetable risotto, ham and cheese sorrentini, and a delectable dessert. Beverages and soft drinks are unlimited, and each adult will enjoy a half bottle of local wine.
If you choose to purchase the show only, your shuttle will drop you at the venue in time for the tango show. End your evening with drop-off at your central Buenos Aires hotel.

That this show is the right event for anybody, we were mesmerized by this exquisite show. The person in charge of picking us up was on time and great personality .

We visited El Viejo Almacén, and the food was very good, truly better than we expected. The show was fantastic—excellent choreography, great music, and an outstanding performance by Hugo Marcel.
However, there was one very disappointing detail: we paid for VIP seats in the front row, and it turned out to be the worst spot. From there, you cannot appreciate the show properly, and they even seated us on one side, which made the overall view much worse. Had we known this, we would not have paid for VIP.
The best seats, without a doubt, are upstairs, centered, where you can really enjoy the full performance.
In short: great show, good food, but terrible VIP seating choice

Visitamos El Viejo Almacén y la comida estuvo muy buena, realmente superó nuestras expectativas. El show fue fantástico: una coreografía impecable, música excelente y la participación de Hugo Marcel, que fue verdaderamente extraordinaria.
Sin embargo, hay un punto muy decepcionante: pagamos VIP para estar en la primera fila y terminó siendo el peor lugar. Desde ahí no se puede apreciar bien el espectáculo, y además nos sentaron en un costado, lo cual afecta mucho la vista general. Si lo hubiéramos sabido, no habríamos pagado VIP.
El mejor lugar, sin duda, es arriba y en el centro, donde realmente se puede valorar toda la puesta en escena.
En resumen: gran show, buena comida, pero pésima elección de asientos VIP.

We went 'full Monty': the pick-up service, dinner & show. Everything was timely and well-handled (we had 2 members using large walkers). The show was excellent! I'm Argentine and my friends were Americans. The Americans were delighted and I, who went with no expectations - typical Argentine - was amazed at the talent of the dancers and musicians, and the swift production with no glitches. Bravo! Viejo Almacen! You made me proud to be there.

The lack of Lauren agent assistance to make it a memorable evening. Two sisters traveling had requested a hotel pickup for Friday November 18th. No confirmation of time provided by gray line contacted viator customer help. She indicated would email the pick up time. She never responded. We had to pay for a cab over and back from venue with was over 25 dollars and wait 2 hours for the show to start since we were so early. Still do not have any notices from viator. Poor customer service. Noticed another individual placard card at our table with viator on it. The seat was empty. I wonder what his story is regarding the booking

The dinner and show were both great. A lot less touristy than ome of the other shows in town. This was my parents' first time to Buenos Aires and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. However, the transportation was very late close to an hour. I speak some Spanish and had I not call them, they would never have come.

We loved the show and the dinner but was a little disappointed at our seat location at the show. I wish I had known more about where we were going to be seated in advance. But overall the show was amazing and food was excellent. I would recommend this tour but perhaps to get front row seating next time.

Fabulous food, fabulous show. Transfer company Gray Line was on time, but didn't come into hotel to find us, so there were some miscommunications. They did fine after we got together. Viejo Almacen is in a historic building, more intimate size, showed us all styles of tango. Fun.

Tango show is very good and very traditional in a very realistic place. Not a stage type production but a small show with close seating to the stage. 4-5 couples dance and show their incredible skills. I elected to for the dinner included package for time reasons. There are better places to eat in Buenos Aires, but it was very convenient not having to be rushed. An alternative would be to have dinner after the show, which would be around 10PM. All restaurant typically stay open until midnight the least.
El Viejo Almacen is clean, with seasoned and friendly staff. I did not use the transportation that was included since I was staying at a private home

We had a memorable evening starting with an excellent meal steak is recommended followed by stunning tango show. Singers and musicians were also good this gave the dancers time for a costume change.

Pick up from my hotel was puntual then we wizzed around town collecting others before a meal of tasty Argentine steak and chips with delicious red wine. The show was great. Very talented musicians and the dancers were amazing. A superb evenings entertainment.

The dinner was very good, but not great. Still, good by Buenos Aires standards means the food was very excellent compared to what I could get at home...it's just there are better restaurants in Buenos Aires. Sort of felt bad that as a lonely diner I had to eat by myself instead of people I had met on the way there. However, drinks were included (huge plus) and the tango show was fantastic! 4.5 out of 5 stars.
