We had a great time learning about polo and how play. Fernando was very friendly, informative and patient, considering we had not horseback for a while. Overall, it was a very fun experience and definitely recommend doing this tour!

Loved it! The best way to try polo in Argentina! I went with my daughter and her friend and we had a blast. I would highly recommend it, Nido was fantastic and it’s easy to get there and back.

Nani was wonderful. He got us on horses and hitting polo balls. I felt confident and had fun. And was surprised how much we were able to do.

the description of the activity is poorly detailed in viator.some points that I think are important to be explicit to whom ever wants to do the experience:
- it takes 4 hours OR MORE for this experience. we understood 3, and it had to be cut short. We had other plans later.
-the ride to the palece takes at least 45 minutes, dependent to the traffic, is IS NOT in buenos aires, but outside of the city.
- the person who picks you up is the teacher, and in his own car, not a van, or profissional driver, or transport,
- the place is completely empty, IS NOT A club, or something with a crowd or anything related to polo, is more laki a farm with the horses, the field and barely a bathroom, so no food, no service, no nothing.
- the description does not say anything about weather changing. It is very important to note that if rains it literally ruins the experience.
- the teaher invited us to play but the place was deserted. he managed to show us what is it about and certainly is more than able to teah and entertain, with a good english. TThe point here is not a experience based on the ambient, or atmospehre of polo macthes, is about get to ride a horse and try to play.

This comment makes no sense at all!
The polo field is not in the city, nobody expects anything different, there is no city in the world that has a polo field in the city center.
The club has about 80 horses, and there are many other sports offered too It is a big place with more than 20 people working there.
Crowd related to polo? No service? What a nonsense!
Of course that polo cant be played if it rains. This reviewer doesnt add any value on the comment, she just wanted to complain about whatever. She attended with her grown son who barely open the mouth to say anything. Very weird people.

Polo is so much fun! It is quite challenging but Nani is a good teacher. He also has great horses for all different riding levels. My husband doesn’t ride at all and Nani had the perfect horse for him, she took care of him and he was able practice hitting the ball. We had a lot of fun and have a new appreciation for how challenging this sport is.

Highly recommend! We didn't even know how to ride horses, and in a hour Nani had us playing a (comically slow) polo match, with our kids aged 12-15. Nani is a fantastic guide and instructor, teaching us all about polo and Argentina on the 40-minute ride to the ranch from Buenos Aires. A truly unforgettable experience!

Absolutely must do in Buenos Aries!! Our instructor was amazing to get us on the house and to able to play polo in one hour. So much fun.... My 9 year old son love the experience!!

My wife and I had a lovely experience with Polo Elite. Transportation to the club was easy and comfortable, and it was great to see the open land outside of BA. The horses were so beautiful and extremely well taken care of, everything about the club was extremely professional. After a brief tutorial, we were on the horses and riding almost the entire time. Our instructor was so kind and patient, as everyone was at a different skill level. He made sure we were learning proper technique and the rules of the game but made sure having fun was the first priority. After our lesson, he gave us a tour of the club and we got to help feed the horses! 10/10 experience and one of our favorite days of our trip.

My cousin and I had very little experience with Polo originally, but after this lesson I’m in love with the sport. Nani was very helpful and patience with us. We had never rode a horse before so that was intimadatinh at first, but by the end we where able to play a full game confidently. Highly recommend trying it out!!

Our lesson was fantastic. Our instructor Nani spoke excellent English (we unfortnunatly don't speak Spanish). Nani took the time to get to know our comfort level with the horses and gave us individual instructions to enhance our riding experience. The horses were safe and friendly. It was a terrific experience.

Nani was very accommodating and we were able to squeeze this in on our last afternoon in Argentina before being dropped off directly at the airport! My friend and I had a great time getting on the horses and playing a few informal rounds of polo against one another! A quintessential Argentine experience.

We had a great time. We previously had no experience riding horses or playing polo. Nani quickly got us on horses and patiently taught us. Our group also had a more experienced player. We all had a great time!

One of the coolest things we’ve ever done! Our guide was kind, knowledgeable, and coached us despite our lack of experience. The ranch was picturesque. And even though we had minimal to no horseback riding experience, by the end of the day, we were “playing” polo. Highly recommend.
The whole thing took up about half the day. Would strongly recommend bug spray and sunscreen, and of course, athletic clothes and shoes.

Fernando is a great instructor and made this a truly memorable experience for us all. We had very informative conversations during the comfortable car ride about polo and all manner of other topics. The horses are very gentle and looked after us during our amateur attempts to play polo. Two of our group have little riding experience but enjoyed this outing immensely none the less. A good time was had by all!

We had an amazing time with Fernando! This was one of the highlights of our trip to Argentina. Fernando is a wonderful host and will take great care of you. We had almost zero prior experience riding horses, but within an hour we were playing a game of polo! This is a truly unique and very memorable experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting Buenos Aires.

Amazing experience and Fernando is an expert passionate polo player who is also an amazing teacher. He also helped my Husband and I practice our Spanish while also giving us the background, history, and helped extreme beginners not feel embarrassed with our lack of experience. We highly recommend this experience as a must do while visiting Buenos Aires. Polo is a big sport in the country, the best players in the world are Argentinian making it an important part of the local culture.

Our polo lession with Fernando was an absolute joy. Fernando was very interesting to talk to and informed us all about the world of polo in the ride. But of course the best part was getting on the horses and actually learning a bit. I have zero horseback riding experience. We’ll, 5 years ago I went on a hourseback walk, but that isn’t really riding as I didn’t do anything to control the horse. This was completely different. With 5 minutes of instruction Fernando was able to get me stopping the horse, turning, even cantering a bit. The horses were super well trained and handled my inexperience very well. And then we got the mallets out and actually started playing. I couldn’t believe that I was hitting the ball up and down the field within 20 minutes of arriving to the ranch. A really wonderful experience. Thanks so much Fernando.

My wife and I had only 1-1/2 days in Buenos Aires, and on a whim, and based on Trip Advisor reviews, we decided to try the Polo Elite polo lessons. My wife had ridden horses many years ago, but I never had. The head of Polo Elite, Fernando Nieto, picked up up from BA and drove us to the horse ranch/polo field, located near Ezeiza Airport. I was a little nervous; these weren't little ponies, but tall horses bred for the tough sport of polo. But Fernando patiently showed me how to ride the horse, and not to be afraid of it.
Once I got the hang of it, we started the polo lesson. At first, my wife and I were like three-year-olds beginning youth soccer, but we soon got the hang of it and started riding around the field and hitting the ball through the goal. When it was over, we were quite sweaty, and our right arms ached from gripping the mallet too hard, but we had enjoyed a unique experience that we will remember forever.
As for Fernando, he is very patient with newbies like me, and also just a great guy. It also doesn't hurt that his English is perfect.
If you're visiting BA, there are lots of museums in town, but, hey, there are museums everywhere. A polo lesson from Fernando, on the other hand, is something you can get only in BA. Do not, I repeat, do not miss it.

My friend and I enjoyed our polo lesson. The day we wanted to go only the two of us had signed up and we are so entirely grateful that they allowed us to keep our appointment even though there weren't enough people to form proper teams. We'd really just been wanting to get a small taste of polo, and were able to do so with the excellent instruction of the guide. The facility is also very nice and the horses are clearly much loved and well cared for. Overall excellent experience.
