What a lovely way to spend an afternoon in Buenos Aires… Jazmin was kind and informative. She shared the background of mate as well as the ins and outs about drinking yerba mate today along with a variety of yummy pastries. She is a local artist and was willing to share her experience. It was fun and relaxing to paint my own mate cup as well as talk to and ask questions about BA. Now I know what to look for in a mate cup and Yerba mate after spending time with Jazmin - so worth it!!! When I travel, I want to have experiences, not just check off what have seen. If you are like me, do not hesitate to sign up!

Amazing experience. I loved learning about the history and cultural traditions of Mate all while painting my own mate cup and enjoying delicious pastries. The location was fantastic as well. The house was architecturally beautiful and the colorful mosaic tiles got the creative vibe started. Jaz was an excellent host and knowledgeable about everything mate and art. Her natural artistic ability inspired my own painting. Afterwards a short walk into the heart of San Telmo offered a nice glass of Argentinian wine and good people watching while taking in this beautiful city and people. All in all a five star experience with Jaz!

Amazing experience! Lots of information about mate and the area in general! A wonderful way to experience mate, especially because it’s not something you find in restaurants. Would recommend to anyone coming to Argentina!

Lovely experience and the pastries were delicious. Jaz gave an in depth explanation about the history of mate. The painting session was relaxing and there were plenty of stencils to chose from. I couldn’t recommend any more !!!
