This was a full day adventure. I enjoyed seeing the neighbourhoods that you won’t necessarily see when on a bus. Carlos was amazing, passionate and knowledgeable. We were the only couple that Carlos took around so it really felt like a private experience. It wasn’t too hot which was great if your on a bike for the entire day.
Drinking mate in the park was special.
Seeing Caminito was wonderful. The empanada epic!
When I got to my hotel later that day, my crotch was sore from the bike seat.
But all in all great experience.

Gilder was a fabulous guide. As a solo femme traveller it was lovely to have a private bike tour exploring the leafy green parks and city streets while hearing about the history of the area. The Yerba mate tea and street food along the way was amazing.

Julian is very friendly and passionate about Argentine culture either dark or happiness. We also tasted few of street food, it's delicious.
We recommend to join this small group bike ride since U can enjoy riding more , not too crowded .
Thanks again, we have a great time.

Thank you so much for sharing this.
We’re really happy to hear you enjoyed the ride and the way Julián shared different sides of Argentine culture — the bright ones and the more complex ones too. Tasting street food along the way is always a nice pause and a very local touch, so we’re glad you liked it.
Small groups make the ride smoother and the conversations easier, so it’s great to know that stood out for you.
Thank you for riding with us — we’re glad you had a great time.

I was very fortunate to be the only person, so it was like having a private tour. Carlos was very friendly and informative. We drank Mate (a local tea). We had a great espenada and a Choripan sandwich. Visited some great sites including where Tango started. Well worth doing

Thanks so much for sharing your experience! 😊
We’re really glad you enjoyed the tour with Carlos and had the chance to try some local favorites — mate, empanada, and choripán are always a hit!

Thanks so much for your lovely review! 😊
We’re really glad you enjoyed exploring the city with Carlos. Our full-day ride is the perfect way to discover those neighbourhoods that buses just pass by. Buenos Aires weather is usually great for riding — but some days, it’s even better!

Very interesting day and a good way to stay cool in the heat. Interesting to learn the history of BA and explore the sites. Just remember to put suntan lotion on the backs of your hands.

We learned about the history of and current situation of this fantastic city. The tour was at the perfect pace. We had a total of 3 people on the tour so we were able to ask as many questions as possible and stop at each location and get as much information as possible. It was one of the most amazing tours we have done and been able to learn and see the city by bicycle.
Response from Host, Feb 2025
Thank you very much 😍 we love our small group experiences because we could spend time talking with all participants 🤓

Carlos was a fantastic guide and he blended historical facts with current perspectives perfectly! We all learned about important moments in the history of Argentina and gained an appreciation for current day life. The Yerba-mate tea event was very well conducted and was very fun to experience. We enjoyed going through the various neighbourhoods and tasting the home made empanadas and tasty sandwiches from la Dona! Overall, it was a beautiful day of sights, sounds and taste accompanied by a knowledgeable, energetic and passionate guide. Gracias Carlos!! Hasta Pronto!

Do not book until you are in the city!!! I booked months out since I had an 18 hour layover in Buenos Aires and thought this would be a great way to kill time and see the city. My flight was set to arrive at 6am, plenty of time to arrive to the meet up point. However, my flight was cancelled at 11pm the night prior so I wouldn’t be arriving until 1030am. I asked for a reschedule or a refund and got a reschedule. Only problem with that is the flight the night prior to the reschedule was cancelled due to weather. I asked for a refund since flight cancellations are beyond my control and I got “because we saved a spot for you, we are unable to issue a refund” So I’m out $100 for a tour I never got to take. So unless you plan this 4 days in to being in the city, I wouldn’t book it
Response from Host, Jan 2024
Dear Danielle S,
We acknowledge your frustration, but it's crucial to note that these weren't 'Extenuating circumstances' but rather the result of some risky decisions you made..
It was your decision to book through Viator / Trip Advisor, a platform that explicitly states no refunds for cancellations less than 24 hours before departure, as outlined in their terms. We faced a challenging situation where, unfortunately, you presented us with only two options: accepting a bad review or facing a financial loss. Just let us say the requested refund wouldn't have been USD100, as the tour costs USD90 per person. Additionally, we had incurred expenses such as insurance, lunch, cemetery tickets, and 33% in commission fees.
Having said that, allow us to clarify why we declined the refund request.
Firstly, we acknowledge that you described the facts accurately. You booked a tour scheduled just three hours after your flight ETA, a plan that unfortunately didn't unfold as expected. We’d just add that you first reached out to us while we were sleeping at 2 am in the morning (GMT-3), a significant 7 hours before the departure time. It was then that you said you wanted to cancel your tour.
While we empathize with the challenges you faced due to flight cancellations, it's essential to clarify that the responsibility lies with the airline company. Furthermore, the decision to book a tour with such a narrow timeframe after your flight was a personal choice.
In terms of flexibility, we strive to accommodate unforeseen circumstances, even when rescheduling involves intricate planning, given our small team. We work diligently to make it happen and, in your case, extended the offer of rescheduling, even though our Terms and Conditions don't typically allow for rescheduling with such short notice cancellations.
Our reservation policy is in place to ensure spots for all participants, and committing to a booking often means turning down other potential guests. As a microbusiness with only three team members, we heavily rely on the summer season to sustain us throughout the year. Hosting small group tours (with maximum 6 participants) is a commitment for both us and our guests, and we genuinely appreciate the mutual understanding.
If you had reached out to us before booking, we would have advised against it due to the tight schedule, as we usually do, emphasizing the practical challenges of making it to the meeting point on time. Even with a 6 am landing time, realistically, the earliest you could have exited EZE airport would be around 7.30 am. This considers the time needed to disembark, navigate through Immigration counters, retrieve your luggage, and wait in line for customs officers to inspect everyone’s belongings. Then, you would get to your accommodation in Buenos Aires by 8.30 am, and then face challenges reaching the meeting point by 8.50 am. Upon experiencing the arrival process on an international flight to Argentina, it becomes evident that your initial plan carried significant inherent risks from the start.
In contrast to the uncertainties of airline schedules, we take pride in our commitment to reliability at Biker Street, ensuring our guests have a dependable and memorable experience.

Last but not least, in facing the repercussions of this situation, we find it disheartening that a delayed flight and your decision have led to unfavorable consequences for us. We aren’t airline giants or millionaires; we’re a small business committed to providing memorable experiences. We honored our mutual agreement – you would pay, and we would deliver a tour. Yet, we now bear the weight of an unjust review. It raises the question: Why should we suffer the consequences for factors beyond our control and your choice, especially when we upheld our end of the bargain? We kindly request you to reconsider the one-star review, as we believe it doesn't fairly reflect the effort and dedication we put into ensuring our guests have a positive and memorable experience. Your understanding and consideration in this matter would mean a lot to us.

We had an absolutely fabulous day with Julian. It was just my sister and I and Julian was amazing. He showed us all the must sees of Buenos Aires and gave us a lot of information and answered all our questions. This is the best way to see the city - all of it - without traffic jams and you get from A to B quickly. A highlight was the food truck. Julian even got me a beer, because I was graving one, even though the truck didn't sell any. We had such an amazing day in this fabulous city. Thank you Julian!
Response from Host, Nov 2022
Thank you very much Vera 😍 This review represent very well the experience we want to offer 🤓

This day tour was one of the highlights of our trip to BA. The max size is six people to the tour which makes it very comfortable - this is why we took this tour.
We did it the second day in BA and it proivded for a great overview of the major neighbrohoods in the city. It was fun biking through the city and it was not difficult as there are stops along the way. We were introduced to the tradition of drinking mate and eating choripan. Carlos our tour guide was terrific and by the end of the day we felt we had made a new friend. We highly recommend this tour.
beverley d, Dec 2017
Perfect way to acquire a great sense of this vibrant city. We covered all the main highlights, learned a lot about Argentinian history and culture and had so much fun navigating the bustling streets. Carlos was a perfect guide. Well informed, patient and a great sense of humor too. Would highly recommend this tour if you want to be more immersed in the touring experience rather than passively sitting on an air conditioned bus.
