Beats a bus tour

Richard_H, Oct 2025
Fun informative ride. Santiago was a great guide and I learned a lot about Buenos Aires. Seeing the tourists on the tourist buses going to the same places we visited made me happy to be on a bike.

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Thank you so much for your review, Richard. We work hard to ensure our passengers enjoy their experience.

Great Tour and Guide!

John_B, May 2025
What an amazing experience! My partner and I have always enjoyed bike tours of cities we travel to, and this was no exception. We were the only ones to register for the trip, so it was a private tour! We saw so much of the city, had a great lunch! Our tour guide was friendly, very knowledgeable, and had a strong passion for discussing her culture and the history of the city and country

Response from Host, May 2025

Hi John! Thank you so much for your words. We are really glad to know that you enjoyed the tour and could learn about our history and culture. Hope to see you again very soon.

Relaxed pace ride exploring Buenos Aires

David_S, Feb 2025
Very nice tour of Buenos Aires neighborhoods on bike. Sebastian, our leader was positive and informative. Pace was very easy and terrain is flat.

Alek_K, Nov 2024
An excellent way to explore the city. Thoroughly enjoyable. Many thanks to the guide who makes it with the stories.

Response from Host, Nov 2024

Hi Alek! We are very glad to know that you enjoy the tour and that the information provided was useful and interesting. Hope to see you again very soon!

Great guide, average bikes & odd venue for lunch.

Chris_H, Nov 2024
Our guide Santi was a lovely guy and great fun but some aspects of the tour were disappointing. The bikes were not in great condition and one only had one gear, we walked up to the entrance of Recoleta Cemetery but did not go in, the lunch venue was away from everything else and would have been better in a busier tourist area with more atmosphere, some of the ‘facts’ we were given were incorrect. But overall we enjoyed the tour thanks to Santi.

Response from Host, Nov 2024

Dear Chris, The bikes have only one gear because the city is flat and easy to ride. Regarding lunch, it is in Puerto Madero, a very touristic and crowded area, which is in the course of the tour. Thank you very much for your comments, will will take them into account to keep improving. Hope to see you soon.

Nice trip, but should provide water for an all-day bike trip!

Sara_K, Oct 2024
Great experience for a day with good weather. Only complaint is water was not provide and really should be provided! It’s not possible to bring enough water for an all-day hike trip! Our guide had 2 full bottles of water when we didn’t have any. This was a major inconvenience.

Response from Host, Oct 2024

Hi Sara, Thank you for your comments. We do not provide bottles for ecological reasons, that´s why we ask passengers to bring their own. They can refilled at our shop and also at the restaurant where you have lunch, beyond the drink included in the meal. Hope you ´d enjoyed the ride!

Beautiful Buenos Aires

John_v, Oct 2024
Great city , good fun , great guide made it an amazing day. I got an amazing feel for the city. The city was much nicer than I thought

Response from Host, Oct 2024

Thank You John for you gentle words about our city. We are very glad to hear that you enjoyed the ride. Hope to see you soon

Too far on a heavy bike with no gears

Mark_D, Mar 2024
We booked a full day with lunch. The morning and lunch were great, but in the afternoon, we seemed to cycle for miles, mostly uphill in the blazing sun on heavy bikes with no gears. By the time we got back to the shop we had lost the will to live and were exhausted. In hindsight, we should have done the morning tour only. Buenos Aires city centre is a challenge to cycle in, there are bike lanes, but downtown the drivers, especially the busses and taxis disregard them. You have to be very alert or you could get knocked off. We had a couple of near misses and I actually had a crash with a phone zombie who strode out in front of me when I had a green light. If you like dare devil cycling, this is for you.

Response from Host, Mar 2024

Hi Mark, Thank you for your comments. Hope you enjoyed the full day tour despite the summer heat. See you next time

Biking through Buenos Aires

Michael_B, Feb 2024
Had a full day tour with Santi at Bike Buenos Aires. Started in San Telmo and La Boca. Wonderful lunch in Puerto Madeira then on to Centro, Pink Palace and then to Retiro, Recoleta and Palermo. Highly recommend this tour!

Response from Host, Feb 2024

Priscilla_T, Feb 2024

Response from Host, Feb 2024

Thank you Priscilla for your kind words. Safety is one of our priorities. We are really happy to know that you enjoyed the history of our city

Good view of city, but leaves a lot to be desired

Justin_M, Jan 2024
We enjoyed our full-day tour, however, we have more suggestions for improvement than commendations. One big suggestion would have been to show us a map of the city before the tour so we would have a basic understanding of the geography. Second, the equipment is very tired and wasn’t checked before departure. The helmets were ill-fitting and the bikes needed a lot of tuning. One persons bike had non-functional back brakes! The lunch stop was a nice restaurant, but was way too ok g. The tour guides were on their phones for most of the lunch while we sat around waiting after having finished our meal. In fact, one guide, Santi, was on his phone the entire tour and would go missing from time to time. Lastly, this tour needs to be no more than 5 or ) people. Our group was 9 people and there was a lot of waiting around because the group would get separated by stop lights or slow bikers.

Response from Host, Mar 2024

Hi Justin, Thank you for taking the time to give us some suggestions to improve our tours. You can download the map with the 3 tours on our webiste. On other hand all the passengers checked the bikes and the helmets before the biginning of the tours and everything was fine, if not we could have changed the equipment if it had any failure, but nobody complained. The tours are for a group of 8 passengers maximum, in your case, as there were 9 people we rode with 2 guides for the passengers safety. We appreciate your suggestions and we will take them to make the necessary improvements. Hope to see you soon

Nice flat ride. Great tour guide. Sandy took us to so many locations and sights. Told us all about each area we stopped. Definitely our best tour yet.

Response from Host, Feb 2024

Hi Anne!, we are very pleased that you´d enjoyed your tour. The full day tour is excellent to see many places in one day getting to know our vast culture and history.

Good tour; Good Value

Eric, Apr 2023
As it was a Monday in the Autumn I wound up with a "private" tour with Sam since there were no other guests. Fantastic, including a very nice lunch in a modern nice restaurant in a business/residential area. I have been on over 25 bike tours worldwide and this was quite nice. For those that are getting on in age and not the best shape (like me) I will say the route is mostly flat and not that strenuous, but remember it is 7 hours before you choose to sign up. Glad I picked the full day.

Response from Host, Apr 2023

Hi Eric, How are you? Nice to know that you enjoyed the tour with us and that the 7 hs ride was not to difficult. Hope we see you very soon!

Best tour of the city

Barbara_E, Mar 2023
Sam was our tour guide for the half day north tour. It was truly a highlight of our stay in BA. Sam was a terrific guide and extremely knowledgeable and cared about everyone’s needs. We really saw a lot, it’s a great orientation to the city and we had plenty of time to take in all the sights and take photos. I would highly recommend this tour and be sure to request Sam, he’s the best!

Response from Host, Mar 2023

Hi Barbara! We are very pleased to know that you enjoy your ride with us and that you could learn interesting information about our culture. We hope you can come back soon!

Fun day biking

Sandra_M, Feb 2023
Small group toured the entire city. Good lunch and made new friends. And tge tide was flat for the most part.

Response from Host, Feb 2023

Hi Sandra! thank you for your kind words. We are very pleassed to hear that you enjoy your ride and made new friends!

10⭐️ The best city tour ever! Ask for Sam.

Scott_V, Feb 2023
10 stars! Sam is hands down the best guide we had in our 3 weeks in Argentina!! We did 3 city tour of BA including this one. A daytime private tour, a nighttime small group tour and this bike tour. We saw more places and learned more things from Sam than any other tour. After other tours I would Google what I didn’t understand or confirm what just didn’t make any sense. SAM KNOWS HIS STUFF. Other tour guides exaggerate or add their personal views. Not Sam, no BS, his knowledge of BA and Argentine history is outstanding. RUN to this tour before he becomes a professor of history or gets a much better paying job. The nuts and bolts. Easy ride on flat surfaces trails or in designated bike lanes. One small incline, not a hill. Lots of stops to rest, drink or have a snack. We also stopped for a delicious lunch that accompanied all dietary requests. Great tour. I honestly would recommend this one to everyone including my mother!

Response from Host, Feb 2023

Hi Scott, Nice hearing from you! We appreciate your words. Buenos Aires is full of intereseting and historical spots to visit and enjoy, lots of things to see and to learn. Hope we see you very soon!

Memories for a Lifetime

Mychal_S, Jan 2023
Our guide May was phenomenal! She is a great storyteller, with a bubbly personality and very educated about the history of the region. The entire company has great customer service & are very hospitable. We had the most amazing time and got to see so many parts of the city. The bike ride isn’t for the faint of heart though! Be sure to stretch, pace yourself and come hydrated!

Response from Host, Feb 2023

Thank you very much for your kind words! We are very pleased to know that the whole expoerience was enjoyable for you. Hope to see you very soon!

Great way to see the City

tracy_S, Jan 2023
A great way to see the City . We had a great guide Sam who provided lots of information at strategic sights . We did 7 hours of cycling with a fantastic lunch in between. Saw all the aspects of BA . Totally recommend.

Response from Host, Jan 2023

Hi Tracy! we are very glad to hear that you enjoyed our tour and could see the most interesting parts of the city!

An awesome welcome to Buenos Aires

kate, Jan 2023
We do biking tots on every new town we visit and I have to say, this was one of the best. Aida, our guide, was awesome.. her knowledge of Buenos Aires, coupled with her navigational skills and careful guidance, made our trip one to remember. I highly recommend this tour to all first time visits to Buenos Aires. Not only do you get an overview of the city, but also a history lesson along with it. With Aida’s help, we have identified places to revisit. Thank you Aida for welcoming us to your city…

Response from Host, Jan 2023

Hi Kate! Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to writing a review. We are very pleased that you enjoyed the tour and learned some interesting things about our history and culture. Hope to see you very soon!

Great Guide.Terrible Bike Route

Robbie_D, Jan 2023
Sam our guide was excellent BUT the bike route was not very good at all! Plan better route!!!? Ugly neighborhoods early on! Tour prettier places for sure!

Response from Host, Jan 2023

Thank you very much for taking the time to make a commentary. The tour visits all the touristic and historical places of the city.

All Day Tour of Buenos Aires

Oliver_E, Nov 2022
BA is quite easy to get around on a bike and we covered more than 18 miles. The bikes were functional with a basket on the front for carrying bags. Our group was small, which was good, but we weren’t given a proper introduction and briefing before setting out which was a shame. The guide knew the route very well, but struggled a little to give a clear description in English. The lunch stop was OK, but we subsequently developed stomach upsets, the timing of which suggests a problem with the lunch food. We are still recovering. This tour was priced at a premium rate, but I don’t think it was good value. The guide was a nice young guy, and we warmed to him as the day went on, though we were feeling quite tired toward the end, and asked him to cut short slightly as we had an evening appointment. We’re experienced cyclists and this sort of terrain and distance would not normally cause us a problem with fatigue, so possibly this was the early symptom of the upset stomach.

Response from Host, Nov 2022

Thanks for your feedback Oliver. Every day we work to satisfy all our passengers. We take note of what you tell us. All the best.

Buenos Aires is a great place to be discovered by bike and this tour is the right way to do it.

niklasschule, Nov 2022
Considering the horrible traffic in other Latin American cities I was a bit nervous about riding a bicycle but turns out the infrastructure in this city is great for such a tour. It was only two of us, so we had a private guided bike tour. We saw many nice places including all the relevant touristic highlights. The tour gave a very good initial feeling for the different neighborhoods and a lot of tips from a local, where to go and what to do. I can highly recommend it!

Response from Host, Nov 2022

Thank you very much for your words. Buenos Aires sometimes can be a little bit challenging because of the traffic. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your ride.

Great way to get around

Andrew_P, Sep 2022
Great way to see Buenos Aires. The ride is pretty flat and easy to get around. The lunch was good . Great day

Response from Host, Sep 2022

Hi Andrew! We are very pleased that you enjoyed your tour with us. Hope you found in Buenos Aires a great city to visit and to return soon!

Want to see a lot of Buenos Aires? Go with a local on a bike at a comfortable pace!

christopher_q, Sep 2022
Our tour was great and informative. My guide, Matias N. is a local who knows the neighborhoods very well and told me stories about his life in Argentina and Buenos Aires and connected that with the history of the city. He knows his dates and Buenos Aires has much history. I never knew why a city moves a port, twice, but he explained. He honestly answered my questions in all aspects about the city that I asked and we went at a good and safe pace while on the bikes. His style of biking was perfect for bikers of any skill and remember that this is a fast paced city with many other cyclists (and cars and motorbikes) and the chosen routes were very safe and mostly able to be in designated bike lanes that are well marked. The lunch spot was upscale, comfortable and tasty. We discussed the importance of immersing oneself in the culture, which I try and do by taking subways & trains. He helped me figure out the transit pass (SUBE), after the tour. Thank you! Matias (This city's transit is much cleaner than NYC)

Response from Host, Sep 2022

Thank you for your kind words!! The entire team works with great passion. We enjoy showing our passengers the local culture and history. Our guide really appreciated working with people from different countries and having the opportunity of helping them to understand better our culture.
