Tigre delta tour overpriced by 100 percent

The boat on tiger delta was great, but if I had known I would have take an uber to port and purchased own tickets for half the price. The tour was really just an expensive bus ride to the boat location and much slower because of all the stops. Overpriced by double!

Good afternoon We appreciate your comment but the price of the tour is correct. The tour includes the transfer to the port of Tigre City, which is 40 km from the city of Buenos Aires. The option you chose allowed you to return with the same boat to the city, one of the several premium options and being a tour that combines both land and river transport it is understandable that the price is higher. In addition, you have to take into account the service of the tour guide at your disposal who provides information and knowledge, the taxes and the commission that Viator takes for each tour sold. In addition, the number of places on the boat is limited and booking through an agency or platform ensures that you get a place on board. Getting from Buenos Aires to Tigre using an app is expensive, especially during rush hour when it becomes almost impossible to get a driver who is willing to make such a long trip. It is not the same as having a driver and a guide at your disposal for that service, the comparison is not valid. On the other hand, the values are published and you agreed when you purchased. You did not have to pay any extra during the activity.

Great half-day trip

We got a Private transportation from our hotel. The company was very flexible and extended the area they picked us up from. We had enough time to walk the Port town and explored the shops. On the boat the ride Was smooth and announcements were made to explain the history of Tigre. All in all very good.
