Carina was outstanding! We were able to see all the must-see spots throughout Buenos Aires and without feeling rushed. In fact, Carina and our driver Maxi made us feel connected and just like friends on vacation together. Her 25 years experience touring the city shows as she is very knowledgeable about all things Argentina. We felt truly entertained throughout the tour and it was not too wordy - or a history lecture, but more about experiencing the history, trends and social atmosphere of this most cosmopolitan city. We tried the unique food, walked the neighborhoods and experienced the diverse culture - very fun. Highly recommend for a great experience.

Carina is super knowledgeable and friendly. We had a long list of things we wanted to see and miraculously we got to most of them without feeling rushed. Carina surprised us with the amazing El Ateneo Grand Splendid Bookstore, which took my breath away. When I entered, my remark was "Oh my goodness!"
She provide us a very extensive tour of Buenos Aires, however we chose not to go to Cafe Tortoni due to congestion caused by protesters of the newly elected President; also the wait in line to see Evita's tomb was longer than we wanted, as we are 75 years old.

We arrived in BA on 2/7/23, and were taken directly to the Viking Jupiter. The cruise ship dock is not convenient at all for getting into the city, and the Buenos Aires top highlights are quite far apart. We only had the next day to see Buenos Aires, so we chose to hire Carina for a private day tour of the city. Carina is just plain fabulous. We were picked up right on time and chauffeured around in a Peugeot with driver, Enrique, who got us quickly to each site, dropped us off and was waiting close by when we were finished. Carina is thorough, flexible, and engaging. In 7 hours we got to see Retiro, Recoleta, Monserrat, San Telmo, La Boca & Caminito, Puerto Modero, and Palermo districts and their highlights, had lunch together at a local place, and got back to the cruise terminal in plenty of time for our departure. If you’ve only got one day in Buenos Aires, and you’re looking for an entertaining, professional tour by a well-organized tour guide, Carina should be your first choice.

Carina Lago is an articulate and knowledgable tour guide who gave us an extensive Buenos Aires 7 hour tour. She knew exactly how much time we should spend at each of our 16 chosen destinations. We never felt hurried or harried, rather we felt the day was at our leisure though we were actually fully busy. In addition to providing us with essential details as well as the overall picture of each highlighted area, Carina also commented upon daily life in Buenos Aires, in Argentina and in South America in general. Good-natured and with a witty sense of humor we were never bored and full engaged with our tour guide through-out the day. Carina has our highest recommendation.

This tour is a must especially if you have never been to Buenos Aires. Carina, also the owner of the company met us at our hotel with a van and driver for our party of 4 and after getting to know us and our interests we were off. We all felt a much greater appreciation of the city after visiting the Cathedral Metropolitan where the current Pope served, the oldest Coffee house in the city and Government Capital Buildings. We were then off on a short walking and shopping look at the extremely colorful San Telmo district. She helped in finding a place for a local lunch. We covered all the neighborhoods surrounding the downtown area and she explained the local architecture and customs. The tour ended with a visit to the famous Recoleta Cemetary where the tomb of Evita Peron lies where Carina was a fountain of knowledge. We can not recommend this tour enough, we would have spent 2 to 3 days seeing everything we saw in 7 Hours. Carina was knowledgeable, extremely fluent in English and the van was perfect.
