Howard was absolutely amazing! He has lived in BA for over 2 decades and knows everything about the city. There won’t be a question you can ask about the city he won’t know.
Tour was great. Hit all the highlights of the city so at the end you have a feel that you have ‘seen it all’. On top of that, Howard does a great job of learning little bits about you to make the tour more personal and enjoyable. Can’t praise him enough

Howard was amazing and full of information. Favorite place to see was mausoleums. Loved the cultural area of LA Ricotta. Rose gardens were spectacular.

They did not show up to pick us up and did not respond to messages. In all fairness, I’m not sure Viator should have booked this at the last minute.

This if the way to go when you have unlimited time in Buenos Aires a private tour. Our guide was Harold and he has lived here for over 10 year. He picked us up at the EZE airport ( additional fee of course). We went to all of our bucket list places and at our own pace and didn’t have to wait for other people to catch up.

Our visit to the Buenos Aires Rose Garden just for its sheer beauty. Our tour guide Duhas (sic) was extremely personal and engaging as we discussed the similarities and differences of our cultures over the course of the day.

This was a fantastic way to not only see quite a lot of Buenos Aires but to learn about the history, culture and what it’s like to be a local in Argentina. Our guide Howard was nothing short of brilliant! He knew the city inside out and was filled with loads of interesting stories and facts. We loved the pace of the tour and also Howard’s generosity in sharing what it’s like for him. I just loved the mausoleum and could have stayed there to wonder around for hours. This really is the best way to see a city as vibrant as Buenos Aires!

Fantastic introduction to Buenos Aires! It was our first visit to the city and Howard introduced us to some truly unique and wonderful features of the city. The Rose Garden, street tango dancers, Recoleta Cemetery and the La Boca neighborhood were beautiful. The tour around Recoleta Cemetery and would have been a wasted trip without the context and anecdotes Howard shares about the history and culture and famous people in the cemetery. I highly recommend this tour!

Howard was a great guide. We had only a couple hours between flights and he showed us the nightlights of the beautiful city ans managed to get us to the airport at just the right time. Be sure to see the rose garden and cemetary. Asks for Howard!

Our guide was Howard Crowston, originally from England but has lived in Argentina for 17 years. He is completely conversant in English and Spanish.
Originally, we signed up for a driving tour of Buenos Aires since our plan was to arrive in the morning, spend one night, and depart the next day to catch our Antarctica cruise. The day we arrived, the cruise company announced that the cruise was going to be cancelled due to crew members testing positive for COVID, but we would get a full refund, and the cruise company would cover our hotel stay and hotel meals for 7 nights. We opted to stay and see more of Buenos Aires.
Howard made a huge difference our enjoyable stay! He picked us up at the airport and returned us to the airport at the end. Besides providing a superb city tour as contracted for through Viator, he took us to other locations on another day to allow us to get a better sense of Buenos Aires. He was vital in helping us get COVID PCR tests for our return flight since the cruise operator, who was originally going to provide these tests our last day on the ship, was leaving it to each traveler to figure out how to get this test done in Buenos Aires.
Howard is super pleasant, outgoing, and caring. We learned about him meeting his wife, his relocation from England to Argentina, his two children, his work activities, his tennis and other fun activities, and more. Simply outstanding! Be sure to ask for Howard.

Howard gave my wife and I the best 1 day tour of BA. He picked us up at the airport, and showed us his personal perspective of BA. Howard was very knowledgeable about the history, culture, and cuisine. In addition to the all the tourist highlights, we visited the monument to Argentina's "The Disappeared", a very moving experience not normally visited by tourists. When I mentioned that I collect Hard Rock T-shirts, Howard drove to the Hard Rock store, helped me buy a shirt, and took pictures of me in front of the store! He showed us a great lunch place near La Boca where we had parilladas, a BBQ meat lovers feast! If you want to see the real BA, look no further to Howard and John's Private City tour! Thanks Howard!

Tour was very good. Driver was well informed on history, the economy, and all about Buenos Aires and the country. We did a 4 hour tour. Driver met us at the Cruise Terminal and was a bit early too. Would highly recommend him.

From the moment John met us at our hotel, we became immersed in the culture, history and beauty of the city and the country. Without his explanations we would not have had the understanding of what we were looking at and why it was important. And it was a lot of fun! The traffic in the city is crazy and he maneuvered around everything to get to all the places we visited. He never rushed us so we had plenty of time to take photos. It just could not have been better and if you are visiting Buenos Aires, this is the tour to give you the most. John even took us to see a sculpture of a racing car when he found out that my husband is into cars. I think his tour would be good for couples and those with children as well.
