Overview

Tackle the waves during a morning or afternoon surf lesson at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast. First, receive a safety briefing and basic instruction on the sand before heading into the water. You'll be provided with a long-sleeve rash shirt or a wetsuit (depending on the season), a soft beginner surfboard, leg ropes, and sunscreen. You’ll be able to continue practicing your technique on your own after catching some initial waves.

Awesome surf class in Gold Coast with friendly informative instructor

Great surf class. Our instructor Rohan was very friendly and did a great job explaining basics and showing us the right techniques. He spent extra time with my kids and we all had a blast. I highly recommend doing this tour and ask for Rohan!

Friendly reminder call from Cal before the lesson and he put everyone at ease whilst also explaining how we would stay safe out in the water which was a bit choppy. Managed to get up on board a few times and had a lot of fun though quite exhausted and slept well!

Fun experience and intro to surfing

The bus wasn't easily visible, and it took a while to find it. The instructors were nice and tried to help everyone one on one when able to.
