Jarka was great! For meeting us at the meet point when we were kind of confused to taking us through her beautiful city she was an excellent tour guide. Clearly and deservedly, she loves her city, and that came through in her tour. One warning: when walking, she often stops abruptly to point out something of interest, so be sure to stay a few steps behind or to her left or right, lest you run her over!

Our guide, Jarca, was so polite, perky and knowledgeable who shared a ton of Bratislava history. She also recommended a local cantina only locals would know (what to eat and cheap). She gave us an expedited castle tour so that we could eat there before they closed. Lastly, she took our pictures at some great spots. We'd recommend her for this city tour anytime!!

We took a two hour tour through Bratislava led by Jarka. She kept a great pace, was highly informative, and she took family pictures at each stop. Her English was very good as well. We recommend her.

Do not book this tour! We waited for 20 minutes and no one showed up and the operator did not respond. I noticed that others had had this experience. If you want to enjoy your time, do not book this tour. We had one day here to explore so this was very unfortunate

The tour guide never appeared. This, after I paid in full and was confirmed. Then on the morning of the tour the operator asked if I could reschedule “because the tour is fully booked.” I replied that I could not reschedule and asked why should I reschedule, since I was a fully paid, confirmed participant. I wasted 30 minutes looking and waiting for the non-existent guide. I have demanded a full refund. Listen, Viator, your Bratislava people failed.

Our manager also explained multiple times that the tour was fully booked and that we could offer you a different time, but your response was very rude.
Sometimes, when a tour is booked just a few hours in advance, such situations may occur.

This was a great experience and a good way to see more of the country. Our guide was personable, informative and tailored the tour to our liking. Depending on the time of year, you may need hiking boots and/or warm clothing.

This was a great tour! My guide, Jarka, started the tour right on time and paced our walk perfectly. She also provided the perfect balance of history and fun anecdotes about old town. I learned a lot! I really appreciated Jarka’s restaurant recommendations as well, as I tried one after the tour and it was excellent!

You did not respond to our messages. On the day of the tour, we again asked if your tour could start an hour earlier or an hour later. We refunded the full amount for your tour and offered you alternative times and dates.

This is the perfect tour for Bratislava! Our guide Jarka was very knowledgeable regarding the history of Slovakia and Bratislava. She informed us of all the homes and palaces with the old city. The tour is exactly two hours and is not a hilly walk very few inclines.

Jarka was terrific. We covered a lot of ground, both geographically as well as historically, in the two hours. Best thing about this specific guide is that she was of an age where she was able to tell us about what it was like in Slovakia pre-1989/Communist times and what it was like during the adjustment period and after.

I had a fantastic time exploring Bratislava with my tour guide Jarka, she really knew heaps about the history of the city and was very flexible in showing me the side if the city and history I was more interested in such as the castle and the views of the old town and city scape. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Bratislava and wants to learn more about the city and its amazing history!

We booked this walking tour over 9 months ago. After we could no longer cancel, less than 24 hours before the tour, the operator asked if we could possibly change to another time. We responded saying we could only do it if our train got there on time. We heard nothing back from this communication. The next day, the train was late, but we still asked at what time they wanted us to meet. We hard nothing. About 45 minutes later, we asked again, and heard nothing. We wrote and told them we would be there at the originally agreed upon time since they were not responding. The ticket we had never changed the time. The tour guide arrived at and tried to communicate with us. She left before we said we would arrive. There were many river cruises in town, so we speculate they had a more lucrative offer. Don't book this tour unless you want to be disappointed.
