Overview
If you like the idea of diving and getting a close-up view of marine life but don’t have the time to learn, an underwater scooter excursion is a perfect alternative. You don’t need diving or snorkeling experience to use underwater scooters, and kids as young as 6 can join in. Travel by speed boat to the diving spot, then spend about 30 minutes at a depth of around 10 feet (3 meters).

Neat experience with friendly tour guides. Very safe and easy without any experience. 10 feet under water without diving.

The underwater scooter excursion is rare. It allows you to stay dry from the shoulders up while being submerged. You can breathe normally while being ten feet below the surface. There are two people in each scooter. Grab the steering wheel, press the foot pedal, and you're off. Seeing the creatures below is amazing!

The best experience we had in Bora Bora. A must event to do while you are here. The guides were very professional, patient, safe and understanding as my wife does not know how to swim. When we return to Bora Bora this will be the first tour we sign up for. Thank you so much Paul

The aqua scooter is very safe and comfortable. You will feel pressure in your ears similar as to flying initially and returning to the surface, but that is the extent of any challenge. The rest is led by seasoned divers who help you feed fish, see the sea life and navigate the waters. On our excursion, the second diver GoProed our travel and made it available to us on a USB instantly after the ride for a nominal fee. Get the videos and photos; you support the staff and will have fun images to share with friends afterwards.
